Best organizer ever used

Quire was my champion!

장점:

It was all free first and being improved, developed continuously. Eventually it became even better.

단점:

Pricing changed after a few years. I guess it was a bit of a disappointment.

An effective project management platform.

I often attend to lot of project works with my employees and i can accurately state that this software has made me to achieve high production rate in all these project. I can also keep track or monitor the progress of these projects easily and also assign each role to each employee on the project. I can easily access this software with ease at a very affordable cost. its chat feature has made it easy to disseminate useful information to investors and clients easily. Great customer service they got.

단점:

No problem to report since using this software, no cons so far.

My day to day task management software.

주석: Quire has made management easier for me to do both in my personal and work life in which i have made so much progress. Its been a productive experience using this software.

Its such a versatile software i have used to manage my daily activities. Easy to use as i can easily navigate through its interface. Less costly and easily accessible. Its drag and drop features make it easy to use. I can manage multiple tasks effectively and monitor its progress. Their customer support has been responsive as they attend and resolve issues often. I easily keep records of clients and employee data using this software as a customer support.

단점:

No cons as i have no regret using this software.

Its task and project management features of this software has made it so unique for me making it one of the versatile tools have been able to use. Accessible at a low cost with a simple interface which has a lot of features that has improve productivity both in my personal life and at work. I have used its chat features for acquiring information and ease communication with other employee and clients. I can also easily track the progress of various project at work and its has also improve my personal life positively through its effective management.

단점:

Nothing to actually hate about this tool as it has made a positive impact in both my work and personal life. No cons.

Personal and business project management tool for me.

Accessible and easy to set up. Its chat feature has helped me to communicate to other employees and clients easily as an admin officer. I have used it to manage and also prioritize my personal daily task easily which has helped improve my level of production both at work and in my personal life.

Amazing product , exceptionnal and generous customer service

주석: Very good, the best "tasks" app we ever used.

Everything, but i Prefer: - Possibility to assign a single task to multiple user (and when it's get done, it goes away for everyone) - Possibility to organize yours tasks by organization, projects and boards - Possibility to create weekly, monthly, etc tasks - Possibility to attach document to each task - User friendly - French language ! (and the translation is good!) - The generosity and help from the customer service (as a small and poor charity organisation who rely on volunteers who work from home, we need this kind of service to complete our projects)

단점:

- maybe the fact that when you look a subtask on a board , you can't see their connection to the "complete task" and it can be somewhat confusing to differentiate between similar subtask (Actually we just have to always name the subtask with the name of the complete task, so we have a way around)

Simple, but extremely powerful software

주석: Overall I'm loving it and using Quire on a daily basis. It made my life so easy that I cannot believe how I managed before without it. It's clean, elegant and for me very easy to use. It took me maybe 2-3 hours to figure out most of the stuff and a day or so to feel really comfortable with it. Quire has all the features I wanted to have and gives me the ability to organize my business efficiently. It's brilliant that I can have several workspaces with multiple projects. Which I can further split into nested tasks with subtasks, but also into linked sublists with differnt view, e.g. boards. Even if I'm looking for something it turns out to be better thought out then how I would expect it to be or look like. Plus I can get an overview of progress stats and progress summary. Not to mention the support is amazing! Fast, responsive and eager to help. Something that you won't see much when it comes to free tools. Honestly, I can't believe it really is a free tool.

Simple. Fast. Intuitive. Not distracting. Gives everything a freelancer, SMBs or corporate might need. It's not overly complicated with unnecessary features. Tree structure is absolutely awesome! This way you can break every project into actually manageable tasks. Every task or subtask can have priority, start and due date, responsible person or external team and files attached. FREE.

단점:

Minimalistic view might give an impression it's super basic and won't provide what you need [but the truth is exactly the opposite]. Some people might find lack of chat or message board a disadvantage [but for me tasks comments are enough and allow me to keep things tidy]. There is no calendar view so it can be seen as a negative by some people [but there is a timeline view which is good enough for me]. Not sure how pricing structure will look like in the future.

Quire: a pretty solid task tracker

장점:

Quire basically just works: you can track and organize tasks, the mobile app is adequate, and you can even get fancy with deadlines and priorities. Solid free tier, perfectly suitable for individual users. By and large, the product direction seems unobtrusive and stable: no constantly shifting UI changes or terrible ML-powered features shoved down your throat. Huge win, really.

단점:

I'm really not sure I would swap to Quire for serious, cross-team project management. Too much of my work (programming) is tightly integrated with Github, and the standards for cross-linking tasks and providing context is really high.

주석: My overall experience is great. It might be the only product I use right now where I would be truly disappointed if it disappeared one day

장점:

The overall user interface. It has all the same features as other task management apps. But all the bells and whistles are aggregated deeper. So at face value it is not super overwhelming. It just looks like a list you would scratch on a piece of paper. Top down. But then you can get into the Kanban Boards, graphs, charts, etc. but they are not initially cluttering.

단점:

There is only one thing that I dislike about it. I have an Android phone and have changed the display density and if a task is due tomorrow the word tomorrow gets cut off and brought to the next line Even though there is plenty of space.

주석: We're having our Support team use it to track all of the little to large tasks they need to work on so fewer tasks fall through the cracks. I use it for project management in creating training content for our company.

- Nested checklists - Ability to adjust settings for each task regardless if it is nested or not - Incredible due date functionality - Constant updates based on customer feedback - Free to use - Basic reporting capability - Kanban board - Many ways to visualize what you're working on (tags, statuses, due dates, descriptions, assignees)

단점:

- Seems simple to use, but there's so many details to learn. Having training would be great! - Sometimes updates interrupt my workflow. I can usually learn to work around it.

주석: It's just a great tool that is very easy to use.

It is really easy to assign tasks and track the progress. My team actually enjoys using it to work together and know how far along each of us are. Also, while we do not use them, I could see us utilizing a lot of integrations in the future.

단점:

It's really not a big thing, but changing the status on the main page could be more customizable - rather than a click to complete, it could be a click to select status.

주석: Absolutely great, I have been using it for years and plan to keep using it. It's one of very few tools that I will always come back to because it just works.

장점:

Ease of use is my priority when using a task or to-do tracker. It's a side activity to whatever I'm trying to achieve and I don't want my tracker getting in the way. Quire does a great job of being so quick and fluent to use that it's barely any effort to make changes there as I work. My favourite single thing though is how much I can see on screen at once. Because of the compact display I can see what I'm doing, when it needs to be done along with priority and dependencies. No other project management tool I've used can tell me that much at once.

단점:

Honestly don't dislike anything, it does what it says it does and it does it well. I think the only thing I could really say is that because it looks so simple I've had trouble persuading teams to use it. There's an assumption that it can't do as much as it can.

It's super easy and intuitive. It has all the important, but not obvious features like subtasks, tagging, customized statuses etc., without getting overwhelming to use.

단점:

It's a minor thing really: when I'm on the board view, and I tick a task ready, it doesn't change the status (column) of it.

Best To-Do list app!

장점:

One of the best project management apps I ever used. They have countless of features, but here are the ones that I love the most: • Clean interface: know for their minimalism style and is built around the GTD method. • Easy collaboration: A simple link that you can share with others. • Kanban board • Task Reminders • Webpage+mobile app quick sync: They provide offline syncing. Another huge plus is that they're completely free. No upgrade needed!

단점:

They don't have a Gantt Chart. Hope they're working on it! It's quite important for bigger teams because we need to keep track of individual tasks.

Great project management tool

주석: It has been great, I've been using their free tier for almost 5 years and find it extremely easy and useful. I can invite clients to see their projects and it has nice and easy to understand gantt charts and to-do lists. From the free tier alternatives this would be my definite go-to project management tool.

단점:

Missing some integration capabilities (last time i checked: webhooks) and their API is not available in many automation services (yet)

Some thoughts after trying Quire

주석: I have been experimenting with Quire, It has some nice features, however I prefer WorkFlowy for its ease of navigation and plainness, but had I not discovered WorkFlowy after Springpad shut down, I would have probably started using Quire because of it's features and functionality.

There is the option of adding new sub list items to top or bottom of list There are nice shortcut instructions when hovering over function icon It is easy to keep track of who is collaborating on a project Collaboration conversations can be always in view Quire is a little different from other apps that I have tried. The design and layout doesn't seem to get in the way as much. There is the ability to add Due Dates and Reminders I rarely collaborate on projects with others. If I collaborated more often I might be more inclined to use Quire regularly. I am impressed that Quire developers have reached out to me several times to asking for feedback about my usage and to answer questions that I had. There is a detailed history of editing of each specific project

단점:

Like most other note taking apps available, Quire does have a somewhat rigid structure that gets in the way of productivity for me, but may be useful for others. Navigation on the Quire screen is a little more spread out than the WorkFlowy screen. Making use of the Keyboard shortcuts is suggested A few times I unintentionally pressed the complete button and "completed" an item on Android I find navigating the page, using built-in calendars and other features is unnecessary for what I want to accomplish Quire is a little slower than WorkFlowy to refresh I am able to do pretty much everything in Quire that I can do with WorkFlowy, but it is a little more time consuming The adding tasks and subtasks and breaking them down is a little more complicated in Quire a benefit of WorkFlowy is that you can compose or copy and paste any portion of your entire WorkFlowy list into an email, letter, article, app or document. There is some exporting of Quire into a CSV document, which can be copied and pasted into a document with some reworking. As much or as little of your whole WorkFlowy list can be shown at one time #n Unlike Quire, WorkFlowy does not have predetermined frames to enter text into you can always see the entire text

Great tool for startups. Very easy to manage tasks and collaborate within the team!

장점:

The ease with which you can add tasks using keyboard shortcuts. For almost all the other systems I had used, it was very difficult to populate the tasks into the system and hence it didn't work out for our small team. But quire did a wonderful thing managing tasks by breaking a big task into smaller pieces so that everyone in the team is aware of the progress without any email communication. Everytime we introduce a new tool, adaptability is the main issue as employees will be reluctant to use tools. But with quire, it was a breeze. Everyone adapted to it quickly.

단점:

Quire doesn't have an android app yet and that is a big worry. Even though they have a very responsive web app which works really good in mobile, the native experience is missing. Also I would like to have a feature where I can select a member and see all the tasks assigned to that person.
