Anylogic is excellent for simulation
주석: We are using AnyLogic to model our cross docks and yard operations. I love using this software for this purpose. The support for modeling "pedestrian" like congestion/etc on our docks and yards is amazing. I know of no other simulation modeling environment that does this.

AnyLogic is an incredibly flexible platform for creating very sophisticated simulation models. I love it's integration with the Java programming language. Also, I like how they separate the visualization from the logic of the modeling.
단점:
To do all that AnyLogic does, it is an extremely complicated modeling tool. It takes a while to learn.
One of the best simulation tool in the market
주석: Using AnyLogic science version 5.5. Providing classes for students, and also using in research projects.

- flexibility (use of Java), provides a great opportunity to develop very complex models - huge amount of features to conduct different types of experiments - huge amount of samples + detailed tutorials - ability to mix in one model different simulation approaches
단점:
- very slow, probably because of the user interface - not very user-friendly in terms of writing the code, autocompletion etc - 2D/3D object library could be more wider, also would be great to have a tool to create own 3D objects
Experience of using Anylogic
주석: Excellent experience so far. Was able to simulate some problems designed for manufacturing.

Versatile Simulation Power A good help for thesis

One of he features of AnyLogic is its versatility. allowing me to tackle and try a wide range of complex problems with a single tool. This flexibility empowers to explore various modelling approaches and combine them as needed to accurately represent real-world systems. And the help that I got throughout the whole process from the AnyLogic team.
단점:
One downside I found with AnyLogic is its initial learning curve. Since it's a powerful simulation tool , mastering its intricacies can take some time and dedication.
Anylogic Simulation

My review
주석: In general, I am satisfied, as anylogic meets all my needs and I have not yet had to use additional software. This is the main thing for me. I would also be happy if the lessons and training material were more interactive. A good example here is the Matlab tutorials on their official website. They are broken down by topic and first you are given the theory, and then you are given tasks to reinforce it
장점:
Simple interface, wide capabilities, and functionality.
단점:
Sometimes it's not entirely clear what exactly went wrong, and then you have to go back a few steps to figure it out. Hints don't always help. It also takes a lot of time to learn. I'm not very good at programming and sometimes it's hard to understand java.
My review of Anylogic
주석: My overall experience with AnyLogic is quite very good, I continue learning and I have built some very good models with the software.

Flexibility to combine more than one modelling method in one model, low code modelling, and ability to use Java for advanced modelling.
단점:
Some of the descriptions of different objects or functions do not provide a clear explanation of the object.
Suggestion to improve

It is so user-friendly and easy to work with.
단점:
Using the Java makes it a little hard to understand. One good thing is to have a specific and seperated shell for coding.

My experience with Anylogic.
주석: Overall experience with Anylogic is very good. I use it to model business systems and processes to collecting statistic or optimization.
장점:
- Integrate all types of simulation modelling in one tool. For example you can create multi-agent model, where agent's behaviour contains inner system dynamic model. At same every agent can act in dynamical changing world, where environment based on discrete event modelling. - You can easy add your own program code lines to handle any event, that happens during modelling. For example you can send message on screen or send message to interact with other agent during events, such as arrive to destination point, take place in queue, leave queue, start processing on a device. - You can create your own blocks and use them to build models like with standard block. - You can create beautiful animated 3D presentation of your model. - There are a lot of free tutorials, video lectures, examples, books that can help you start build complicated beautiful models. There is well done documentation with good tips and advises. - You can every time ask support any question you want and they answer you in short.
단점:
- New versions of Anylogic comes very often, sometimes its annoying to reinstall it. You can skip one update, but there can be some problems. - I notice that when you update Anylogic, your old models can stop working in new version of Anylogic, you had to fix syntax errors in models code. At same time modes, that you create in new version of Anylogic probably will not open in old version of Anylogic. Looks like developers not care about backward comparability when preparing updates. It can be real problems if Anylogic version is different on your home PC and on your PC at work. I hope developers will take my opinion in consideration and provide backward compatibility for next updates.
Anylogic Simulation Software Review
주석: Overall it is a great piece of software, but you need knowledge of java and a good problem solving mind. It is incredibly powerful and flexible, but I would say can be beaten in specific applications where simulation software is built for just one or two purposes.

Anylogic has great Flexibility, runs on java and a huge amount of functionality. It can present models in 2D or 3D with a decent library of graphs and outputs by default. It is very suitable for many different applications, and if you want, can essentially model anything you can think of (if you program it yourself). I've mostly used it in manufacturing, and its been able to do everything I've wanted it to do in the end. It's not always as easy as other software, but that's a trade off between functionality and usability.
단점:
It can be tricky to start with certainly, and there are some elements that are much easier to do in other simulation software packages. That said, you can usually find a way of doing it in anylogic, although this takes longer and is trickier. It's not always easy to find the problem when something goes wrong. The software is essentially wrapped up Java, but this means it's not as easy to debug as a sheet of code. Code is fragmented between elements, which takes some getting used to. The UI is also very slow and unresponsive (even on powerful machines), there's a lot that could be improved here.
Anylogic for Industrial Use

The resources, agents, pallette are quite useful for designing the model. The major attraction is the help section which explains the each and every block with example. The support team is quite helpful as they respond very quickly regarding any doubts. It is quite easy to use this software. In my case, I was able to integrate the software for simulation purpose for a project required in my complany.
단점:
There are few features or bugs which I encountered while designing my model like it doesn't considers wall as an obstacle while designing the warehouse so I had to manage that. Other than that, it would be better if the computational speed is improved as it tends to slow when more than 2 models are open at a time. There were few tasks which I was unable to integrate with my business requirement initially, but thanks to support team of Anylogic they helped us to resolve it.
AnyLogic Review

Fortunately, there are a few online communities and forums that can provide assistance and guidance to those who are just starting out.
A Great software

Anylogic is really a great software. The most important ability of the software is that this is a multi-method software which is very applicable for social science studies, since these studies face almost complicated systems as well as some problems and limitations with data and the combination of SD and ABM would be a very useful tool. Another important point is related the available tools in the software which increase the ability of modelers to consider more details in their models. Last but not least important point concerns the example models which are great guides.
단점:
Although this is one of the best simulation software with GIS tools, it is required to expand and complete it in this regard. Also, for me the price is a little bit high for researches.

Ever since the free trial, customer service representatives have been so engaging to help you out on any issue faced while navigating through the first steps. Everyday a phone call and an email for a help. This is really welcoming to the new software
단점:
I used the free trial, I understand with the limited functionality but the free version is pretty slow compared to the full package.
The only one of its kind
주석: The best in its class of multi-method tools and as good as any other tool when compared on a single feature basis. The customer support is amazing.

AnyLogic is the only tool supporting all the different simulation techniques and even allowing you to combine them into hybrid models. The ability to expand the drag-drop modeling environment at any time with Java code is really cool. And the ability to export the model as a java applet that will play in any browser is also very cool -- now you can deliver your models to users who don't have sim software installed and would NEVER have it installed -- but they can still run the experiments you design. Customer support like you've never imagined! "Hey, my model doesn't work very well" is an acceptable request! They'll work on it, make it better, do things you never thought of, and send it back. All for free and as many times as you like!"
단점:
The feature set is amazing -- in fact, so rich to be a little daunting. This makes the learning curve longer than most tools, not really steeper, aka harder, its just that there's a lot to learn. The documentation is a little dense and the grammar is stiff and formal. I wish there were a simpler, "how to build models the easy way" book as opposed to all this formality.
Great software for Game research simulation

Amazing and Versatile Software that fills everyone's needs

AnyLogic is very appealing to me because of the ease of use. I have been using AnyLogic for the past half year now and it has been incredibly easy for me to do my work. I use AnyLogic for simulation modeling and I find the software very diverse and easily applicable to any business problem.
단점:
The only drawback about AnyLogic I have is the decently high learning curve. AnyLogic takes a bit of time to learn to use to its maximum capacity but once you have an understanding, you can do virtually anything with the software.
For a simulation software you can achieve almost any system modeled.

Multi paradigm approach. Large database of objects for specific systems (like pedestrian, roads, trains). Ability to draw logic structures (actionchart)
단점:
Compared to other discrete events simulation softwares, not easy to obtain statistical metrics (confidence intervals) of usual simulation indicators. NO MONTECARLO IN PLE (it's absolute useless to take a decision with only one datum in a stochastic process) Nor capability of significant statistical parameters of long run simulations. Or warm-up configuration. Very long learning curve
Flexible
주석: Developing academics models regarding transportation and energy issues.

The software allows to develop hybrid models straightforward. The user interface is very good and is important to highlight that you can run your models through the cloud.
단점:
Require skills in java programming. For most IT users that wouldn'be a con but for social scientifics it can be a little complicated when programming agents. On the other hand, have all the java environment can be a plus due to the power of java.
The best simulation software
주석: I'm modeling healthcare systems and Anylogic is really helpful as it's the only software which supports multi-method modeling.

This is one of the very few simulation softwares which support ABM, SD and Discrete event simulation.
단점:
The only thing I didn't like about this software is the language, Anylogic use Java.

A flexible and highly capable Simulation tool
주석: I used AnyLogic for my PhD research where I developed an agent-based model of the construction bidding environment. I am extremely happy with my choice and the results I've got. If you want to develop a scientific model to investigate a research question, AnyLogic is a great option.

I think the most interesting aspect is the flexibility and capability of AnyLogic for developing a variety of simulation models and conducting very diverse but at the same time specific experiments.
단점:
The graphical representation could be improved.
