주석: It helps us with design prototyping and wireframing as per our project(s) needs. I find this software extremely effective and enthusiastic. In all circumstances, I will always recommend Figma to businesses, organizations, enterprises, and personnel.

Figma is an amazing software for application prototyping. It has a high affinity for design visualization and idea portraiture.It supports the most popular fonts that we often use throughout our designs and has an advanced and rich user workspace. I like its responsiveness to media queries and the editor is duper fast.Figma helps us craft amazing prototypes and wireframes as per our project(s) requirements and also enables us to directly merge them with our favorite development tools and thus, creating a seamless development experience.Its design layouts are very cool and we can collaborate on our projects easily.

I will say, Figma is not for beginners. Features are too overlayered. This makes it a little hard sometimes to properly figure out a specific feature and more to it, icons placements are not user-friendly

Figma, one of the most incredible tools for creating functional and realistic prototypes.

주석: Figma is highly intuitive, and we don't need to be professionals in the design field to create functional prototypes, all we need is time to learn the most important aspects of prototyping and it is guaranteed that each project will be better and with a professional result.
We can execute our designs and make them look like a functional application, and after approval, we can give it to our development team for implementation.

Figma is one of the most popular and powerful tools when we need to develop functional prototypes to demonstrate an idea, especially when we are going to show, for example, the design of a web application or mobile APP. Figma developments are highly interactive and can be presented in any format, whether for a mobile device, a tablet or a laptop, and we can even customize the resolution for almost any resolution.

Figma has its own file format described with the .fig extension, so there are not many import options from other formats such as .xd, which can be a bit tedious if we come from other applications and want to bring all our projects to Figma. However, once this challenge is overcome, we can create designs either with the standalone application or by using figma from a browser, with similar functionality.

Bad product, highly unclear

주석: It had made me want to cry, I cannot stand using this abomination more than I need to.

It has a fancy look to cover up how trash of an app this is.

Honestly everything, its one of the most unclear apps I have ever seen. None of the icons help you see what you are trying to do. Its an awful app for beginners, even despite being in a classroom setting and having it being taught to us, most of the class is genuinely crying in frustration over this app and even the teacher is confused on what they are teaching. Please never download this app if you are an educator, I could hand code what I am making in this faster than I could ever create it in this god forsaken application.

Amazing software I'd be lost without

It is a well-designed program clearly built by designers for designers. As a UX/UI designer, I would be lost without Figma, as I have never used any of its competitors. I absolutely love FigJam, too, and was so thrilled when that was rolled out, as I had used Miro and Mural in the past and didn't like having to toggle between two platforms. With Figma and FIgJam being as part of the same ecosystem, my work is streamlined significantly, especially since I can move designs between the two with ease.

There isn't much I dislike. There is a learning curve to do more advanced design work and there doesn't seem to be enough tutorials to cover everything, or the tutorials aren't always up to date to match current features, if they do exist. That said, I rely on a lot of random independent content creators who publish tutorials and guides to places like Medium and YouTube.

Modern tool built for web design and development

주석: Great! Highly recommend. It's simple enough to use for low fidelity wireframes and powerful enough to design fully fledged, high fidelity apps.

You can tell it's been built for modern web design and development. The most powerful part being the automatic code generation when selecting elements in Development mode. The collaboration mode is amazing, and it does really well when multiple designers are in fact editing at the same time. And the comment mode is super helpful. There's nothing quite like an inline pin + comment (compared to feedback with screenshots and emails like in the past!).

단점:

The pricing is a bit steep, but it's a tool of the trade. It would be good, however, to have leaner multi-user plans.

Figma: the essential tool to productive collaborative design

주석: Figma is the all in one service you need. It can handle everything from building advanced, scalable design systems to running collaborative whiteboarding sessions, through to full interactive brand guidelines.

Figma is the all-encompassing software that every agency needs. It brings strong prototype ability, great design tools, and brilliant workshopping tools all into one cohesive place. It's fantastic for pulling together much more than just the talked-about prototypes. Presentations, brand guidelines, you name it! The range of plugins available also helps to supercharge the experience.

단점:

It’s difficult to find many downsides, but one issue is the limited options for adjusting screen size when presenting prototypes. Sometimes you want to zoom out, but the preset display options make it challenging to do so easily. Hopefully this will be solved by Figma Slides!

Best component based design tool

주석: I like design editor layout, as it is easy to understand, i also like libraries for font and icon as it has varieties of libraries & plugin

It is easy to use, so many good libraries & plugins which saves my times a lot, and the best part is component based design, which help to do changes at one time and affect it at all screens

During the time of UI presentation when we do full screen and at that time if move our navigation towards top side then Figma's by default status bar occurs and some time we are not able to perform CTA

Easy to use, lots of pre-made designs to get you started.

Figma is really easy to use, tons of pre-made design kits which are easy to find with a quick google search to get you started. The components feature is particularly handy for quickly replicating frequently used sections.

단점:

It can be a little fiddly, sometimes components end up outside of the frame you want them in but this is easily rectified by checking your layers and dragging the component into the correct frame.

Options are endless

주석: It’s been good and I’m glad I was introduced to it.

There are so many things you can do, the options are endless. It’s easy to use, has a fun interface and you can easily collaborate with others.

단점:

There is a bit of a learning curve but I’m sure if I took the extra time to learn about all of the features, it’d be better.

Great Experience

주석: My overall experience with Figma has been fantastic. The real-time collaboration, intuitive interface, and extensive plugin library make it a powerful and enjoyable tool.

I haven’t found any drawbacks so far. So far, so good.

Figma should be the industry standard for UX/UI design

주석: As somebody who deals with complex applications, the collaboration and design system capabilities Figma brings to the table is just awesome. I switched from Sketch which covers some of the functionality but it's very hard to create and maintain a design system which mirrors how developers build up interfaces. Figma enables and encourages you to think in components and build and scale a design system as oppose to individual screens. This approach is essential to any product-based business.

- Collaboration: follow every update in real time. Sharing designs with client? You don't need to worry if they look at the latest updates or not. Collaborating with others on a design? No need to sync or update - it happens in real-time and automatically. - Components: very easy to use components and start to apply an atomic design approach. - Design system-centered thinking: Figma nailed a bunch of tedious and cumbersome design tasks: for example, it was not intuitive to work with layer styles, text styles and colors in Sketch (before I switched to Figma in 2018). In Figma, you can apply a saved color to texts, vector objects - anything. Very easy to work with saved text presets as well - they all built in a way to help you re-use them.

단점:

- The design (UI) of the interface is not so nice :) After 2 weeks I stopped noticing it, but as a designer it bugged me at the beginning. - In some cases it takes time to load. - Figma updates the software regularly which in some cases means a completely new interface - and sometimes not all the updates are very intuitive (though they are iterating pretty rapidly so that's a good thing)

Incredible

주석: Amazing. Figma has sped up many parts of our design process and enabled non-designers to contribute meaningful feedback more quickly into the design process. It's also enabled team members to quickly create visuals for things that don't require a lot of design oversight (eg. social media visuals). It gives a lot more power than Canva and at a lower price.

I can't believe software this good is available for free. Figma provides every single feature you need to create great user interfaces, advertisements, documents, and any other design you could possibly want to create completely free. We use the paid version of Figma which allows a large number of collaborators as well as a few other high-end features. While there is a bit of a learning curve, Figma is surprisingly easy to learn for non-designers with just an hour or two of video tutorials (I used Udemy). Once you understand how to manipulated elements of your design, even a design newbie can churn out some pretty incredible designs very quickly. This software is a godsend for marketing teams. With traditional creative suites like Creative Cloud, you end up going back and forth with a designer - in Figma, anyone can pop in and contribute their thoughts in real-time. Our marketing design team has moved to doing the majority of their work in Figma now and it's been unreal.

A few challenges have popped up with Figma. First, when you begin collaborating on designs in the cloud, there are times where you end up sharing a file with someone who doesn't have a Figma account. I would be nice if files could be more intuitively shared online with people who don't have a Figma account - especially if those people could drop comment pins on designs. Another con would be that because it is cloud-based software that's doing some pretty heavy lifting, it does tend to be more sluggish than running on-premises software with a high-end computer. That said, it's a minor annoyance and something that's probably worth not having to spend thousands on high-end hardware.

Excellent tool for building beautiful mockups

주석: Figma has quickly become our main UI development tool.

Figma is really focused on Web UI which sets it apart from generalist tools like Adobe Illustrator. I also really appreciate that it is built as a Web app, making it totally platform-agnostic, unlike industry-standard Sketch which is limited to macOS. A lot of effort has been put into how easily assets can be imported, like for instance how adding SVG objects is only a matter of drag and dropping SVG files directly from the local filesystem. Figma really feels and operates like a native app, with all the benefits of an online service.

단점:

There's very little to dislike about it. I guess the biggest con is that it can be hard to operate in an offline environment.

Unbeatable design collaboration

주석: Overall, Figma is an extremely powerful tool that allows for next-level collaboration with teams and users and so much more. It is a world class design tool that competes with the very best of the other options out there. I'd even say it comes out on top of Sketch.

My overall favorite feature in Figma is the real-time collaboration on design files. This is invaluable to us in collaborating with other designers, product managers, and development teams remotely. The prototyping tools are amazing as well. I have created some pretty complex prototypes and I still haven't reached the full potential of what Figma's prototyping tools can do. The organization features (pages, files, projects) are very flexible. This allows us to create an organization structure the way we need it to work, instead of forcing a rigid structure on our team. Reusable component variants are a game changer! As is auto-layout for making components adapt to the content inside them as it changes (i.e. a button grows as you type text into the label). There are so many more things I could mention too!

Some features can be a little tricky to learn. Auto-layout, for example, took me a while to get a grasp of and I'm still not sure I have a full understanding of how to use it.

The best of the best

주석: Figma helps us prototype and design much more quickly than ever before. It's extremely helpful in creating results that can be reviewed by stakeholders and legal without much fuss.

Figma builds off what other similar solutions offer in providing a very simple, easy-to-use interface with both an web-based and app experience that makes it more versatile and useful in my day-to-day work. I also like that Figma does what a lot of other tools don't do: It factors in the importance of content within design.

단점:

Content within design relies on 3rd party plug-ins for Figma. It would be nice to see this functionality built into the app itself.

Excelent for collaboration on design

주석: It is a great piece of software. It brings fresh ideas to UI design. It is a online-only tool so you can access your files anywhere.

It is fast and reliable in what it does - designing interfaces. It features a rich community where templates can be found and offers good handoff options for developers.

단점:

Pricing model. You need to be in a team and each user has to be paid for. If you're in more than one team, you still have to be paid for in every team. Also, prototyping tools could be improved with features like sticky elements and inputs.

Figma is a terrific tool for design and prototyping work.

주석: Figma has saved me hours and hours of frustrating design work in Photoshop - where design can become cumbersome at best. It's easy to master and makes design work fun and fast. I love being able to share quickly when needed and the templates make my work easier and even more rewarding.

The learning curve for Figma is simple and anyone who is new to design can start creating right away. If you have some design experience then Figma will help you increase productivity immediately and will inspire your creativity. The community makes a lot of templates available and sharable, and many of them are top-notch, pro-level work. Also there are many plugins available that make it even more useful.

단점:

If you're new to design the interface may be a little confusing and some basic start-points are not so clear at first, but once you get the hang of it then design work becomes pretty easy. Menus are not clear, and some of the most used features (for me) are buried under multiple clicks. Having templates available from a handy list would be great such as templates for FB ads or 'hero page elements' and alike.

Figma, an excellent tool to generate prototypes and increase the customer experience.

주석: It's a reliable tool, and it works perfectly when it comes to executing the prototypes so that our designs are seen by the end user and receive their feedback. We can also share views of our designs or allow collaborative work to be done. In general, its performance is consistent and scalable to complex projects.

Figma has been adopted in multiple developments for its versatility, and for its proven efficiency in increasing the user experience in prototyping design stages. Its library and object management simplifies work on complex projects where multiple people participate to prepare proposals and guarantees a homogeneous product. Its interface has a very good degree of usability and the learning curve is short.

Figma has been widely adopted globally and has proven to be preferred by many developers and UX designers. However, some may have opted for other multilingual alternatives, 3D transformations or voice prototyping. But it should be noted that the consistency and simplicity in the use of Figma made it the favorite and currently many companies implement the prototypes and projects through these platforms.

Best Companion for designer.

주석: I'm working for 2+ years with Figma. Before that, my team and I tried a lot of other programs but none of them satisfied us as much as Figma. When it comes to price, comfort, features & flexibility, Figma is by far the best.

Working together with a huge team in one project simultaneously feels just good and natural. No merging of changes is required. Everything is saved in a cloud so you can access it from everywhere. You also can work from a lot of devices since it only required a web browser.

단점:

I think the presentation mode could be improved. It already has a solid base for interactive design presentations but I wish there would be more options/possibilities in the future

Figma is Another World Itself

주석: Smart Animate is one of the most impressive features in Figma. You can create advanced animations using Figma's Smart Animate feature. Smart Animate searches for similar layers and animates the ones with slight differences. This feature also lets you create detailed transitions, parallax scrolling, loading sequences, gestures, and much more. Smart Animate also allows you to preview your prototypes, and share them with others just like design files.

Creating vector shapes in Figma is very similar to creating them in other drawing applications. The basic tools of vector design are the pen tool and the fill tool. Figma includes both of these tools, so you don't need to download an external illustration app. To create vector shapes, use the Pen tool to draw shapes or logos. The color picker is located at the bottom of the Stroke area on the right side of the screen. You can play around in a best way.

Nothing bad till now, You can mold Figma in any shape you want. You can view the prototype on different devices through the presentation tab. The user can interact with the prototype by leaving comments. The prototype can be distributed as a link or shared with multiple people.

Not good for companies

I share the concerns raised about Figma's user management and billing system. Unfortunately, Figma’s current system appears to lack the necessary safeguards for business owners to manage their accounts effectively and economically

Therefore, I urge fellow business leaders and decision-makers to exercise caution with Figma. It’s vital to vigilantly monitor your account settings and billing to mitigate these risks. The current state of Figma’s system underscores a crucial demand for tools that prioritize not just functionality but also align with stringent business practices and security measures. In light of these shortcomings, I am considering the development of an alternative platform that foregrounds these business essentials. This potential solution would offer robust control over user permissions and financial implications, addressing a critical market need for business-centric design tools. Until Figma addresses these shortcomings, businesses must recognize and navigate these risks actively. This is a call to Figma and other software providers: align your services with the stringent requirements of the business community. Only through such alignment can digital tools genuinely serve and support the diverse needs of the professional world.

Design in Figma

This is the greatest tool I have used for my design projects, I use it everyday and has helped me to communciate better with colleages and developers. This tools lets me design and prototype, do discovery sessions and plan a project roadmap, create presentations and share files, plus many more things. It is great and very easy to use, it is always improving with new features and really hearing the community to make new features.

단점:

At the beginning I had a lot of .ai files that I could not open or import into Figma, this is still not possible but there are ways to see the things. + As it is always evolving, there are some things that I wish could be easier but I would be surprised because for the next launch they had not only made it easier but also more accesible so there is nothing I would say I like the least. I enjoy using this tool and would recommend it to anyone.

Figma is the best tool for UX/UI designers, I will be a lifelong customer

You can really tell that the Figma team listens to their community and reacts to meet the needs of their clients which is why everything is optimized to mirror a designer's brain. The grid system changed my life, and I would not be able to achieve such depth, quality, and professionalism in my designs without it.

Where do I begin? From the free plan, to the collaborative nature of the tool, and the intuitive interface, I will never go back to Photoshop or Illustrator again. The tools are limited in a good way in the sense that it's not overwhelming and my workspace isn't overcrowded by things I don't need. It took me less than an hour to understand the ins and the outs of the platform and now I have thousands of files on Figma.

Honestly, I have no complaints about Figma. The only problem that I ran into was being limited by the free plan in terms of collaboration, but it's normal and the paid plan is inexpensive anyway so it was time to level up!

Examining Figma

The main advantage is that there is no need to save your design (whatever work you have done). After finished editing, you may immediately evaluate your changes in real-time. It is compatible with all devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, cellphones, and others. It works with both desktop PCs and mobile phones, allowing you to view your files from anywhere. Figma allows you to customise templates to meet your specific requirements. When deciding between Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, I strongly recommend Figma.

To structure the team asset library, just unclutter several copies of the same component and merge them. For those who want to collaborate, it is simple to utilise. You can access all of your Figma accounts, workspaces, and community profiles from a single interface. The most endearing aspect of the figma is the FIGMA PLUGINS. Figma plugins are powerful while remaining stable and secure. Overall, it's fantastic!

It lacks a rubber. In figma, there is no method to erase. And it requires an internet connection. This makes it impossible for you to work offline.

Collaborative design platform.

The ability to export our prototype designs in various formats is another fantastic aspect of Figma. I also appreciate Figma's collaboration feature, which allows our entire design team to gather feedback in real-time and iterate on different design ideas, leading to faster project completion and improved quality in our design prototypes.

Figma is challenging to work with in offline mode , due to its limited functionality when used without internet connection. Additionally, its advanced features have a steep learning curve, which may hinder accessibility for non-advanced level designers.
