This only feature saves us a lot of money. The support is very responsive on Skype and lots of translators available all the time.
There are currently no features that I don't like.

Best localization platform
주석: Excellent
장점:
Crowdin is the most feature-rich of the localization platforms out there. Just as important, it has the best online translation editor for translators. The problem with most localization platforms these days isn't which formats they support or any other engineering feature -- it's that the online translation part is so slow that your translators don't want to use it. Crowdin is the ONLY platform our translators actually enjoy using. That makes it a win-win. Also the customer support is excellent.
단점:
This is nitpicky but we run a lot of projects and would like to archive "old" source files without deleting them. Also the way it manages duplicates is not ideal, but we haven't found a platform that does a better job so it's hard to complain.

A complete service for your app

Crowdin was simple to setup, the UI is very simple and it has a lot of feature. Support always been here via chat when I needed some help. There are a few issue sometimes but overall it's a very complete, robust and useful tool for i18n in our web app
단점:
It is a bit hard to understand some complex flow and correct implementation with Crowdin. Like it would be very helpful to have some better documentation and explanation of the flow suggested by crowdin.
Lacking Crucial Features

The interface is well designed and the task feature is extremely time saving.
단점:
Why are TM matches vs string history vs MT suggestions in the same spot and not easily distinguished? It makes translation difficult for all parties. From an LSP partner perspective, it does not make sense to use CrowdIn. The security access controls are not present. So unless your organization is purely crowd-sourcing, the ability to comply with ISO and other standards is near impossible. But also the key concept of having multiple linguists work on a project at the same time without the ability to cross over into each other's content is missing.
Best in class for crowd translations!
주석: Crowdin is a high quality product with many good and helpful features. We used it in a former project as crowd translation tool for our app and it worked very well. At the moment our main project only has very basic requirements and we don't need many features anymore.

1. It's easy to invite colleagues, customers and professional translaters to translate content. 2. Using the crowdin cli tool to upload and update translations in our code base. 3. Create branches which reflect code branches.
단점:
Over the years and the additional features crowdin got more and more expensive although we have a very basic workflow: 1 private translator, just translation of every string in 1-2 languages, upload and download per cli tool. Currently we are thinking about not using Crowdin anymore - although we like Crowdin very much.
Crowdin review
주석: In general, I like it and planning to continue using it.

UI for managing projects and perform translations/proofreading is very good. Activity section is also very useful.
단점:
As of purchasing translation UI - it's not always intuitive and can be improved.
Versatile tool that accommodates to your needs
주석: Starting off as a translator, the Editor is very easy to use. Once I went about localising my own projects, I started using Crowdin without any doubts and this sped up the process significantly. The support team is amazing and the product is very versatile.

When starting off with localising my projects, the support team reached out to see if they could accommodate to my needs. Some of my projects are open sourced, and Crowdin has special resources for projects like this. Everything was disclosed and handled very clearly, and there were no (unpleasant) surprises. I even managed to move a project to Crowdin Enterprise relatively easily once the project became too large to manage on Crowdin.com.
단점:
It is sometimes a bit annoying that Crowdin Enterprise and Crowdin.com are each restricted and confusing to use in their own way. Crowdin Enterprise is not very friendly for translators. Crowdin.com doesn't offer all the management tools you'd like. It would be better if the two products fused together into one great product.
Crowdin 전환 이유: It was the most versatile and it offered special accommodations for small open source projects on one side and huge closed source projects on the other side.
Highly Recommend Crowdin for Translation Work
주석: I highly recommend Crowdin for translation work. I have already recommended it to friends who are using it for their projects. Of all the translation tools I have used, it is my favorite.

Crowdin is a fantastic platform that has made the translation process incredibly smooth. It's super easy to use, even for beginners, with a user-friendly interface that anyone can navigate. The website loads quickly, which is a huge plus when managing large projects. The machine translation feature provides helpful context based on work you have already done. Plus, the glossary feature ensures consistency across all translations, maintaining our high-quality standards.
단점:
The overall project management on Crowdin could use some improvement. The dashboard process, in particular, needs refining. It would be great to have more intuitive and easy-to-understand dashboards that clearly show the amount of work completed over time. This enhancement would make tracking progress much more efficient and user-friendly.
Cost efficient product
주석: The overall experience with Crowdin is good.

Crowdin provides the most capabilities on the market while being a very reasonably priced SaaS.
단점:
Many apps are of low quality and constantly have issues, customer support is helpful, however is not going over the board to solve the issue. Developer seats should not be priced as manager seats.

All-in-one translation platform
장점:
Crowdin gives multiple machine translation options, including a free in-house one. It is one of the few services that offers free plans for open-source projects and it gives almost all a user wants when editing and adding translations: keyboard shortcuts, good editor UI, ...
단점:
The editor sometimes is a bit slow when saving translations and auto-translated strings are not always responsive.
One of the best translation tools
주석: I'm translator of an open-source project and I also propose, implement and use this tool in multiple companies I work for.
장점:
All my translators can work with this tool without asking many questions. Support for many formats.
단점:
Sometimes slower UI for larger projects.
Crowdin is a great value for large scale crowdsourced project
주석: Overall our experience with Crowdin has been great, their customer service team is very friendly and helpful! Our translators enjoy using it and the only complaints I've heard have been occassional speed issues, but we're not sure if that was their own connectivity issues or Crowdin issues. My only complaint from an administrators standpoint is that it is very difficult to have any sort of feature requests addressed, so unless the request is already on their roadmap or is shared by their much larger clients, it probably won't happen.

Crowdin is a huge cost savings compared to our previous software. We don't pay per translator access which is essential for crowdsourced translations and we only hit our string maximum after 5 years. The editor works well on a mobile device, which is key for volunteer translators to be able to contribute whenever they have time and does not exclude those who can only get online through their phones. Editor is robust and they're always adding great apps to add even more functionality. Project management is very simple as file progress/status is easy to track.
단점:
We would love for translators to see the status of their language for each project from their Profile view, so that they don't have to click into each project in order to see which one has work to be done. We also have needs for some of our volunteers to manage the permission of others, which was a feature when we started with Crowdin, but they removed this feature 2+ years ago and we're still waiting for new permissions to come out to help solve this problem. I would love to see more fine tuned controls for Machine Translation integration. Right now if you wanted to use different engines for each language pair you're not able to do that.

dm meets Crowdin
주석: At dm-dogerie markt, we fully utilize Crowdin to translate and keep our online shop as well as our app up to date in 14 languages. Over 250 people have access to the platform. Additionally, other departments such as ERP and logistics also utilize Crowdin for their processes. Security has been a crucial aspect for us, which is why we greatly appreciate the availability of Single Sign-On (SSO) and System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM).

주석: I have started using Crowdin few years back to help translate so many apps to my native language and make it more easy-to-use then. Since then I started to love this because of its easy, clear and fast using among all the projects, translations etc. I dont like other services that are used for translating to be honest! This is 10/10!

I really love listing all the translations as a one, because some other webs that devs are using for translations, have all in one strings, which is annoying and finding new ones is even more annyoing there. Here in crowdin? Easy and fast. Also searching new or old strings is fast and easy, too!
단점:
I have found anything bad about Crowdin to be honest.

주석: My overall experience with Crowdin is very good, as I have gained knowledge in Tamil Grammar, which Amazon, Bing and Google never teach. It is the only platform which teaches grammar in Tamil while translating (when there is a grammar mistake. It tells exactly just like Tamil Pandit.

I improved my translation becoz I have learned a lot fro Crowdin particularly in Grammar and Spell Check.Crowdin is a great platform for those who wants to keep the translation services as their career, that too free of cost. The more assignments you do the more refined your translation.
단점:
Once in a while, the translator who does the review free of cost, crowdin should send a note appreciating the time spent by them. I never have received any such mail, except this one.
A good product to get both CES and CSAT
장점:
Easy to set up new flows, as we evaluate several processes separately and start it based on events, it is very important for us that we don't spend too much time implementing the evaluation of the new processes using CES.
단점:
Not many. Sometimes could be easier to understand some configurations, but when you have learned it, it works.
good experience with crowdin
주석: overal experience is very good. Better than Transifex, or Weblate
장점:
usefull help with translating sentences. Database and AI is pretty smart.
단점:
some features in GUI, there is a little annoying browsing unfinished sentences or projects. Bad or none evidence of contributing code on Github if used automatic bot.

A great online alternative to regular CAT tools
장점:
Collaborative working, cloud-stored progress, easy-to-use commenting features, an incredibly intuitive user interface
단점:
Spellcheck can be a little iffy sometimes.

주석: Im really impressed on how this tool have been helping me in my job, as a translator to have a tool that helps to know if we wrote well or not is amazing.

The translation memory its really helpful to sabe time searching for words when Im doing a translation.

Great software, easy to use and very reliable
주석: As a translator, I am very happy with crowdin and I always liked using it.
장점:
Its ease of use and how it focus on the task. There are no unnecessary information on the screen and you can just work. I like that you can see the translation from other languages, which help a lot.
단점:
The layout is locked. If it was modular and you could show or hide specific blocks and position them on different part of the screen, I think it would improve my workflow
Mostly very decent
주석: I'm merely using it as an end-user and I do feel like it benefits me to easily contribute to translations and also to keep things tight with team management.

Team management is good. Free-for-all, like on Weblate, doesn't always lead to better translation. In fact, it usually leads to worse translations. So having teams is important. I also like the keyboard shortcuts, translation editing capabilities and the easy-to-reach-and-use comment section in the editor.
단점:
The site and editor are a bit difficult to navigate at times, requiring a few too many clicks. And a few features are a bit hidden out of view. Furthermore, the translation editor needs a better untranslated filter, maybe one that solely focuses on the untranslated strings instead of having it blend it with the already translated strings.
Competitive localization application
주석: It had been pleasure localizing the strings with the help of Crowdin.
장점:
The Machine Translation, suggestions from previously translated strings, possible matches along with the percentage of match.
단점:
The spell check for the Tamil Language can be better to include some more grammatical errors.
Crowdin for translation proejcts
주석: My overall experience was good because it was easy to use and the TM suggestions together with different machine translations included which can make a difference when translating sentences of 2-3 words like for an APP.

I recently (about 6 months ago) was invited to translate a project for a company in the telecommunications area (mobile phone and IT features) using Crowdin and had a very good experience. It was very easy to use, after concluding a set automatically could translate the next one without needing to go back to home page and it also offered TM suggestions which made the work easier.
단점:
What I liked the least was that I needed to write comment in every segment I had a question to the project manager so she could check it. As there were no segment numbers I found it repetitive and it took a lot of time to just write a lot of comments and when I got a comment again need to answer within the platform.
Crowdin is one of the best (if not the best) platforms for translating your projects
주석: The overall experience all these years as user and contributor to many different translation projects has been great. I haven't used the Crowdin platform professionally but I'm sure it will be great from what I've seen. I'm sure that if there is a need for translating a software project this will be my number one choice. All this coming from someone who isn't native English speaking (I'm Greek).

The ease of use, the suggested translations, the integrated discussion per project, the easy navigation and most of all the lightweight web interface.
단점:
That it doesn't yet support that many languages for the User Interface. It currently has 19 languages and I hope it supports more in the neat future.
