Good for Startups!

장점:

Remote makes it easy to enrol new employees, contractors, and to manage employee/contractor expenses.

단점:

The fact that they have switched health insurance providers. One reason we switched to Remote was that they used SafetyWing, however they have now moved to a more well-known brand, with a lower limit.

Great to hire abroad

장점:

How easy it is to use. The customer service is great

단점:

Time tracking and hour compensation can bit a bit limiting

Casavo experience

주석: the overall experience until now is not positive at all, to many difficulties in the transition from the previous system (Factorial HR) to remote lack of a structure onboarding, there's a lot of support from the team but infos are not structured in a efficient way compared to the previous experience, the feeling is that the product needs huge improvement to be able to provide a good user experience

- integration of two differents countries payroll into one unique tool with the same processes and procedures - cost calculator

단점:

- constrain about the capacity of aligning counters of the time off - impossibility to manage autonomously several elements even if using admin profile - reports: lack of customize reports ad hoc autonomously - workflows: possibility to send only emails (or slacks)

Good if you're a small company, cost efficacy increases the bigger you get

Great platform and service - Highly recommend

We have moved all our 3rd party team members over to Remote from other providers. Remotes portal is super easy to use, requires literally no training. When I've needed specific help, the people at Remote have been quick and helped to solve my problem. I would definitely recommend Remote

단점:

It's only a very minor thing. There's so much you can do on the platform. I'd quite like to be able to remove options that I know I'm not going to use, so make it simpler for me.

Satisfied with service

fairly predictable. Employees are paid, benefits are offered in compliance with country laws. invoices are timely.

단점:

Employees don't know where to enter their PTO

99% excellent just a couple annoyances

주석: Remote is our key EOR partner and enables our business to move internationally without much issue. In general we are very happy with them.

장점:

Great service, solid tech platform, reasonable pricing

단점:

Payments used to be immediate now they take a couple days to be reflected, which is especially challenging as the company as a whole is very unforgiving of any payment delays and will freeze your account. It's very disruptive.

Our experience with Remote since June 2023

주석: Remote has been a game changer in having a workforce outside of the US. They offer competitive benefits and are easy to work with.

Our Client Success Account Manager has excellent response time, as well as proactively understanding our business needs. He is proactive in partnering with his product team to make enhancements that also benefit our team.

단점:

It is a significant investment and would like to see better pricing as our team grows. Their pricing is a little wonky to me in hiring by teams of 15; versus a team price with different quantity sizes.

Best tool to hire abroad

주석: Pretty good experience working with the tool.

Able to hire people in geographies where we do not have an entity.

Flexibility with some complex contracts...

Stay away from Remote

주석: Remote as a global HR platform / company is a joke and and the customer service is absolute appalling! I submitted my resignation in May and it's now August and I am still dealing with trying to get refunded for over-payments that's been made and their incorrect handling of leave. The company I work for is waiting for process corrections for outstanding credit notes, including those arising from pre-funding invoices vs reconciliation invoices. This company seriously over-complicate their processes as a whole and I am starting to doubt whether they even know what they are doing themselves since we are now onto 3 months with my support tickets being opened and ZERO solutions yet. Just "thank you for your patience emails". Like, honestly... Furthermore, when the company I work for requested the invoice breakdown from inception till leave date, they basically sent one from A DIFFERENT COMPANY where all of that company's employee names, their salary etc could be seen. Like, wth?!! Honestly, do yourself a favour and stay as far away as you possibly can from this company both as an employee and as an employer. Trust me, you'll save yourself a lot of headaches.

Support is appalling, their processes are messy, calculations are not clear, nor right.

Remote's software enables Phaidra to bring on new talent from almost anywhere in the world. Their support team is helpful and thoughtful in their communication.

단점:

It would be great to have more transparency into what stage new employees are in during onboarding. Specifics (like if Remote sent the onboarding email, etc.) would be great!

Great platform with amazing customer service!

I think what makes Remote special is a customer service. The representative of Remote for my company: [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is always very helpful, reachable and takes care of all the questions we have regarding the contracts, platform etc. I definitely recommend [SENSITIVE CONTENT] expertise to all the clients!

단점:

The deadline to pay invoices - 1 week is very short to proceed all the documents internally.

Superior IP protection and customer experience

주석: Extremely pleasant and smooth. They automate the onboarding process for employees so things that should feel very tedious and time consuming felt breezy and quick. Customer success team is a pleasure to work with and barely need their help given how straightforward their platform is.

The determining factor for us was that we always felt they were more transparent in how they operate from a legal structure viewpoint, and we could trust our employees' intellectual property to be handled by them.

단점:

I would like for them to introduce a 24/7 chat feature but they said they're working on it.

Great Support and Customer Service

주석: I have had great customer service reps and they really do listen to feedback and add features. It isn't instant, but I have been happy with it.

I really appreciate the customer service that I have had at Remote.

The pricing- especially for insurance internationally- can be high.

Hiring talent across the world made easy

장점:

It made our life easier. Thanks to Remote we have been able to hire talent from countries where we don't have presence in, offer compliant contracts and save time on payroll management. We also received support with tax and legal issues specific to different cases. Whoever we had a problem, the Remote team has gone above and beyond to find a solution.

단점:

Because onboarding employees in every country depends on local regulations, it requires and a proactive approach from the person doing the enrollment and being in contact with the onboarding/happiness team.

Very innovative service for remote workers

The service is clear and precise and allows companies to hire employees all over the world. It's definitely something that should be exploited by companies, as more and more employees wish to work remotely

단점:

I have nothing to complain about. Despite the charge-free-year of trial was insanely good, I think they should decrease the free-trial period and also decrease the afterwards fees, that may be too high for small companies who want to hire remotely.
