Ease your video editing workflow with Adobe Media Encoder

장점:

Adobe Media Encoder is an essential tool for my video editing work. It is very easy to use and allows me to convert video files into a wide variety of formats. I can easily adjust the encoding settings to optimize the quality and size of the files. In addition, it offers full support for common video formats, including professional formats such as ProRes and DNxHD. It is also integrated with other Adobe Creative Cloud applications, which facilitates the workflow for video editing. Finally, its batch processing feature saves me time by processing multiple files simultaneously.

단점:

It can be a bit slow when encoding large or high quality files. Also, it can be expensive if you are not already subscribed to Adobe's Creative Cloud suite. Finally, some of the advanced features can be difficult to use for beginners or less experienced users.

Compatible with all types of editing software from Adobe, making it easier for me to determine the settings for the results I want.

I have to spend money separately for Media Encoder software because almost all Adobe Video Audio Editing software uses Media Encoder for rendering.

An overlooked powerhouse

주석: Adobe Media Encoder originated as an incredibly powerful encoding tool for Media professionals and those working in the film industry. Some of the most useful features are the ability to render high quality .mov or .mp4 master files complete with captions, according to exact specifications normally provided by a distributor. This is a very useful tool for those looking to deliver high quality master files for DVD creation, online distribution, narrative films, TV shows, and more. While many programs offer their own encoding suite built into their editing program, having a dedicated encoding program is a powerhouse of capability, often overlooked due to niche demand.

High Quality Media Encoder/Exporter Tool from Adobe

주석: Good, once you familiarize yourself with the exporting process everything is very simple.

This software is mostly used as a companion to Premiere Pro, Adobe's video editing tool. This software streamlines the rendering process and allows for a variety of formats.

단점:

Ideally this app would be baked directly into Premiere, and perhaps one day it will be.

Media Encoder is a good tool to render videos into various types of formats

주석: I am using Media Encoder to encode videos into different formats.

Media Encoder has a lot of output options, so it is easy to create exactly the type of videos you want. It is also easy to use.

단점:

It is part of the Adobe package that is a paid membership only. There is no way to buy the license for good, which is what I would prefer.

An Excellent Small Encoder

주석: I first thought that Media Encoder was a nag because you can encode and export videos from Premiere Pro or After Effects, but as I did more and more video projects, I recognised the value of this particular piece of software. For starters, it extends the capabilities for exporting from After Effects, or at least zeroes out whatever ignorance I have when it comes to exporting. That's a great start for sure. Beyond that however, I've often found it extremely helpful for those working in the Adobe ecosystem who may have more than one video for export. For me, I've had to export clips from shows, or multiple videos from Premiere Pro, and I could send all to Media Encoder, and allow them to export together. I'll walk away from the computer, and when I return, I have my five or six videos waiting for me. I also do a little work with social movements, and we share some of our content via whatsapp, which isn't a great place for larger video sizes. We compress our videos using Media Encoder very quickly, and can then share them. I think that the program has utility for a variety of situations, and it is worth it to have the opportunity to leverage its power in your video workflow. I recommend it!

This program makes it easy to encode your videos, whether from an Adobe video editing program, or whether you need to work with one format, to change to another, or even if you are trying to compress another video etc. It's efficient and user friendly.

단점:

I don't see anything that I don't like about the software. Meet the minimum software requirements, and then get the job done!

Excellent standalone encoder and Perfect with After Effects

주석: We have Media Encoder in all our machines and all our videos are rendered through it, every few minutes. So you can say, that there is no business without it for us.

We are in animation and VFX business, and Media Encoder with After Effects form the bedrock of our whole enterprise. - Extremely HUGE list of supported formats to encode in. - Simple drag and drop interface if using standalone, and seamless integration with After Effects for rendering projects. - Scaling, watermarking and inbuilt custom formats are a great addition. - Queueing feature is great, just queue it and forget it. Also, it retains the queue after closing.

단점:

- The one thing everyone would hate, is the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. Gone are the days of owing standalone software, you need a recurring subscription which is pretty expensive. - Takes longer to render. - Glitches when used along with Element 3D. Not always, but enough times that its pretty noticeable. - Has bugs, no matter how many updates, reinstalls or system changes are performed, they still remain. - Learning curve for new users. That is all, its a good package overall.

My work in editing non-stop

주석: The program is enough that I do not wait for the export to start another project the program in a way that makes me well maintain working time

Easy of the program with many options in video output to suit all sizes, extensions and platforms ,In addition to facilitating the montage process for 4K materials By proxy feature

Not accepting import all video extensions or conversionTherefore, we need other programs to do this, and it is very stressful when working on Mac devices that do not have conversion programs that also accept all extensions

Best Media Encoder with cons

주석: Overall, I have great experience with EA. I still recommend it to my video editing perks. The convinience it offers is just awesome.

- One of the best experience I have with media encoder is how convenient it is to render series of videos that I have just finish compositing. Such as laderized video lessons. Very convenient.- Another is it's capability to pause current render and push others thay needs to be prioritize.- Of course the arsenal of supported codecs and video format is exhaustive. It is less likely that your format will be missed. - Ease of export. It doesn't matter if you're using Premiere or After Effects - just a quick CTRL+Alt+M does the trick.

단점:

- Needs a little more time of learning. I wish they would make the buttons more noticeable and larger as it is hardly noticeable specially the Render, Stop and Pause buttons. This gets even smaller on a 4K monitor.- Bugs when rendering. Instances when you render, it freezes, discontinued or return an error.- One more thing is that it takes so much time for EM and say, After Effects to finish the dynamic synching. Takes really long somtimes.

A must-have for video pros who have decent devices

The batch processing feature is a massive time-saver, and it handles large, complex files like a champ.

It requires a decent amount of system resources, so I had some issues with the tool on older devices.

A great tool for expert and beginner video editors!

주석: Overall, most of the features in Media Encoder (such as the extremely detailed export options and the simple video editing features) are really helpful. Although the software can be slow at times (depending on how large a file you are exporting), it is still a great tool that I think video editors of all levels (beginners and experts) can benefit from.

I used Adobe Media Encoder mainly in conjunction with another Adobe software (Adobe After Effects). I use Media Encoder to export videos created and edited in After Effects (as it is no longer possible to export videos directly from this software anymore). What I love most about the software is the fact that users can customize their video render settings to their exact liking as there are many settings to export extremely high-quality videos. I also recently found out that Media Encoder has a few simple editing tools such as time-warping and looping. These can be extremely useful for beginners who want to dabble in video editing, but don't want to deal with difficult more complex video editors. And after these videos are done being edited, they can be exported through Media Encoder itself.

단점:

The only thing that I don't like about this software is that sometimes it can be extremely slow when used in conjunction with other editing softwares (in my case, I use it with Adobe After Effects). Media Encoder tends to take a long time to open up and export the video that I have just edited in the other software (Adobe After Effects).

Adobe Media Encoder Review

주석: Overall, I have had a good experience using Media Encoder. I like that there are so many video and audio file output options. There are also several settings within the presets that can be adjusted to get optimal file size and quality for the exported media file. I also like how this software integrates with Adobe After Effects. I like that I can export my After Effects composition into a mp4 video file format, directly within Adobe After Effects. I also like that it shows you the status and estimated time duration for the media export/conversion of the file.

I like the wide range of audio and video export preset options.

단점:

Sometimes this program fails to load quickly and properly. Sometimes I have to shut it down and restart the program.

An Encoding Necessity

주석: I mostly use it to export from Premiere Pro or After Effects, and it does that well. So, I'm happy.

Adobe Media Encoder's fast and easy conversion and exporting is my favorite thing about it.

As much as it is quick to export, when it comes to uploading files onto the program, Media Encoder takes ages.

Media Encoder offers a variety of file formats.

It is properly integrated into the adobe system, so it's easy queue work from your Premiere or After effects timeline and easily encode in a variety of formats available in the software.

The interface is not very friendly, not very intuitive. You'll have to watch tutorials to understand how it works.

The only one I use to render videos

장점:

Before discovering the media encoder rendering videos was a headache. After this discovery, the renders became much faster and now with the final coding that was needed.

단점:

There are no cons that I can identify in the software. For what I need it has always worked without any problems and is very easy to use.

Media Encoder: a software you can rely on.

주석: Good. Recommended for use when results are deliveries on time are important.

What i like most is an ease of use. The sotware is straightforward. Also robustness is a plus.

단점:

Slow rendering times under Windows. The whole Adobe suite is a bit overprcied for what is is.

Reliable & stable

주석: Biggest challenge is with encoding, but this made it easy.

장점:

Was plug and play, recognized Nvidia Quadro P4000 right away. Setup was more about preferences.

단점:

It does what it's supposed to do really well, I have zero complaints!

One of the best media encoders out there

주석: Converting the videos to stream and post to the company's website.

장점:

The integration with the other Adobe Products, like Premiere and After Effects. Huge amount of video formats and codecs supported. Lots of presets ready to use.

단점:

Need to be installed apart from the other adobe video/motion sofwares.

A good tool but not perfect and a bit confusing at times

주석: Medi Encoder is useful but its UX and settings is clearly dedicated to people knowing what they do. A new user who just want to adjust some files or convert them for the web may find better solutions.

It is super easy to manipulate with its drag and drop features and comprehensive settings.

단점:

The encoding in some formats can be overwhelming, especially when you try to optimize the weight of the file. You can end with bigger files than the original with a lower quality for the encoded.

A Very Simple Adobe Media Encoder

주석: Overal Media Encoder is great to convert any videos into any formats or create proxies.

The only thing I would like Media Encoder to improve upon would be the time it takes to export videos, other than that it is an amazing app.

Export Video Files with Ease

주석: Overall you can easily change conversion compression, run multiple videos, and trust the exports will happen when you check-in later. It's a great tool for crunch time projects.

If you need to schedule and run a batch of videos this is your tool!

단점:

Sometimes the program will crash if there are too many videos exporting at the same time (or they are very large files).

Great with After Effects

주석: I really like ME. It's been a time saver allowing me to convert files quickly and easily.

The software is very well laid out there is nothing I did not like.
