Easy To Use Calendar Application

주석: Again, Fantastical has a good user interface, many calendar features, easy to use and good integration.

장점:

Fantastical is very easy to use. It has a pleasant user interface with flexible views. Adding events is easy and it has smart text ability. It integrates with multiple apps like Things, Mem, Airmail and others.

단점:

I don't use Task Management as there are other apps that provide more features. Integration with Google calendar should be easier.

Fantastic Calendar = Fantastical

주석: I don't know another calendar app that is packed with functionality while being well designed. New features are continually added. Apart from the natural language entry for appointments there are very well designed views (monthly, weekly and daily and the brand new quarterly views are available) and basic necessities (sync with calendar providers such as MS Outlook, Exchange, iCloud, Google Calendar etc.) there are lots of advanced features. You can let clients make appointments to your calendar ("Openings"), similar to calendly. Just send your client a link and let them chose a time that fits them and where you are available. You set up "Meeting Templates" according to your use case, e.g. I have a 1 hour Coaching session. You can send out "Meeting Proposals" similar to doodle. Colleagues reply to a poll what time works best for them. All proposed times are blocked on your calendar, until the meeting is finalized, making sure you don't double book. If the appointment has a link (e..g for Zoom or MS Teams etc.) joining the meeting is just one click away...

I like that Fantastical is very well designed and easy to use, while giving you tons of features. I used to use 3 or 4 different services to accomplish what I can do with one app now.

단점:

I am generally not a fan of the subscription model, but on the other hand 40$/year don't break the bank. So I decided to live with it. The free version is great, but lacks some of the features of the paid version.

Great features and design

주석: My overall experience with the software has been very positive. It certainly makes managing my calendar much easier, but I'm not happy with the shift to a subscription model.

- Scheduling tasks with natural language is by far my favorite feature of Fanstastical. I love to be able to say "Meeting with John next Wednesday at 10:am for lunch" and Fanstastical is able to parse it into a meaningful calendar event, add the location, invite people, etc. - It has a very decent search tool, making it very easy to find future and past events. - I also love that I get weather information right in the calendar.

단점:

- The recent changes in price structure made the software less appealing. I bought the software a while back, but then they've switched to a subscription plan, which means that the software I've paid for is now "free" for basic usage. I would find hard to justify paying a monthly fee just to enjoy a few enhancements to calendar apps that are already good enough.

Unobtrusive but user-friendly

주석: The calendar is unobtrusive and easy to make or see entries. I can easily see the time zones and select which calendar sets I want to appear. The customer support is prompt and works with you until the issue is resolved.

장점:

I like the pop-up calendar in the menu bar, enabling me to quickly see my month at a glance as well as what's going on this week. It is easy to see and change the time zones. I can make entries using more natural language.

단점:

Some of the nicer features require a subscription. I had purchased a license earlier on, but lost the pro features when they went to a subscription model.

Fantastical - a great alternative to Outlook

주석: Really happy with the software. It is my go-to calendaring program.

장점:

Very easy to use. Perfect integration with Microsoft Exchange/Outlook. All sync, calendar viewing, Zoom integration functions work well. Ability to copy/paste a calendar item saves a suprising amount of time compared to re-creating three or four instances of an identical or similar event for which a repeating meeting is not appropriate.

단점:

When modifying an existing calendar item/meeting, there needs to be a “Do you wish to save changes?” dialogue box. It’s too easy to inadvertently modify a meeting and push the mistake to all attendees.

The Best Calendar App Ever

장점:

Fantastic tool to schedule appointments and tasks, synced with your normal calendar. Simply type out the event you want in a normal, natural language, and the software will understand and add it to your calendar. For example : "supper with team at Darcy's at 6pm next Monday" and it will contact your team, send an invite and schedule you in!

단점:

What I don't like about the software, is the notifications on Mac that do not seem to fade away. Otherwise, I'd love an ability to schedule tasks at certain hours, or have that sync both ways through todoist.

Tried others but came back - just too good!

주석: The Paid version is awesome, great upgrades all the time and syncs with all the things you need to sync with.

장점:

I love the way that calendar looks, it's clean but colourful and I like my calendars to be fun to use. After a year or so of using the free version I explored other options as there was an issue with "asking for authorisation key" constantly that I could not get rid of. Ultimately after trying others I realised that nothing else was as easy or enjoyable to use (and the learning curve to learn something new was not worth it!) so I switched to the paid version to get access to the support and additional features. I use it so often that it was worth the investment for me. Whether due to product upgrades or using paid version the error message no longer appeared and Fantastical and I have been playing along happily ever since.

단점:

I'm not such a fan of the new way that you set the times, with this 24 hour format that highlights the first 2 digits and then the others in scroll type fashion. I preferred it as it was before which meant it was easier to change the time just with the keyboard (less errors that way)

One of the best calendars for iOS, iPadOS, and MacOS.

주석: This app has saved me so much time creating events, and I love the scrolling sidebar when scheduling events with friends/colleagues. The ability to have multiple calendars has been a lifesaver- I can have my home and work calendars on the same view so I can see what I’m scheduling around.

I love the different views- day, week, month and agendas. The sidebar is especially useful when looking through your month at a time. On MacOS, I love the menu bar icon that lets you use natural language to create a new event. The natural language works well in iOS/iPadOS as well- you can simply type lunch with someone and it creates an event from 12pm-1pm on its own. It’s a fantastic calendar!

단점:

The move from one-time purchase to subscription was a bummer for me, but it did automatically unlock all the features I had paid for when I purchased it. As it is, it’s still the best in my opinion.

Nice but very expensive!

주석: My free trial experience was pretty good. I'm a tech savvy guy and I love the treats Fantastical provides to its users.
The great drawback, and what keeps me from using it, is pricing. I think it's overpriced and the fact it doesn't offer cross platform support leaves it at bay for me.

It's probably the most complete calendar there is out there. There're billions of features that will appeal to any user. It's got a great UI - the best I've ever used and it'll sync with both iCloud and Google.

단점:

I think the greatest con is pricing. I really think it's pricey, that's what stops me from using it as my main driver - in addition to no Android and Windows support.

Hands down, best calendar for Mac

주석: Its a pleasure to use, and I can't imagine managing my day without it. The fact that it integrates with Todoist is great, so all my outstanding todo's are shown on my calendar for the day too.

The natural language event adding is wonderful. I can create an event by just typing 'have lunch with Joe next Wednesday at This Restaurant at 2pm', and Fantastical creates the event at the date + time, adds Joe as an invitee, and sets the location to the address of This Restaurant.

단점:

It's perhaps a bit pricey, but when you think about everything you get for the price, it is real value for money and I resubscribe every year.

Using Fantastical...Everyday!

주석: I use Fantastical everyday---it is indispensable in my personal and business world. So much better than anything else out there because it is highly intuitive, clean interface and works well with others.

Super intuitive and easy to use. Great integrations with other calendaring programs

단점:

Tough question...pretty much like all that it does. Perhaps a better address book integration would help

Fantastical is a decent alternative to Calendly

주석: Fantastical is a decent value for the price. Sometimes the glitches are a problem though and it is hard to deal with this reliability issue when running a professional business.

장점:

I like the fun and clean Fantastical interface a lot and the variety of calendar views that are available. The price is also better than many other calendar options.

단점:

Sometimes Fantastical has a glitch where people book an appointment but it no longer sends them a Zoom link. Also, there is only an option to book a Zoom appointment and no choice for a phone call or in-person meeting instead.

great alternative to Apple Calendar

주석: displays more info in a smaller window than Apple Calendar, can be customized to suit any need

장점:

customizability, ease in creating events, different views to allow more info in a small window is very helpful

단점:

it's a little buggy at times, but recent releases have been better; sometimes has issues syncing with my Gmail calendar, but that may be on my end

Smart NLP makes this calendar better than the rest

주석: Overall pretty solid product. That being said, if google calendar had a mac app, I'd stick with just google cal. The mac app is what makes this product worth it.

- mac app and iOS app - ability to type in words and have Fantastical schedule for me (i.e. Lunch with X on Friday) - Zoom integration to send invites - can add many calendars

단점:

- Syncing of calendars is clunky and setting up all my calenders to work properly was a headache, used google for a bit before figuring it out

Fantastic calendar that just works!

주석: It's been great, it's like a one stop calendar, hard to point anything in particular when you have everything you need and more

The natural language parser is amazing. Another thing I love is the easy integration with Todoist, which I use to keep track of my, well todos. It's a great app. It also integrates with zoom and you can create zoom meeting in there which is very hand. Overall happy with this calendar

단점:

For me the product would be fine, it's just the subscription model I'm not a fan of. I'd have just preferred to pay once, not every month!

Compact and efficient way to always have your calendar(s) easily accessible

장점:

The best way I've ever seen to be able to use multiple calendars in a super compact and efficient way, always accessible no matter on laptop or phone.

단점:

A bit more support for reminders would've been nice.

Great App for Your Calendar and Tasks!

주석: Overall, I like the app. The updated user interface is clean and easy to navigate and it combines two of my most used productivity tools into a single application.

장점:

I typically use a Calendar app and in a separate reminder app so I really love that both of the apps are integrated into one app, especially since I rely heavily on both my calendar and reminders for work.

단점:

While I like that all of my tasks and reminders appear in the calendar I don't like that I cannot control which task I see because it's pulling from the reminder app on my phone. Any overdue tasks are all assigned to the same day on the calendar.

Near perfect calendar app

장점:

The menubar calendar is super handy. Great way to jump into the next meeting.

단점:

Timezones - Searching by city seems like a great idea but fails in reality. For example, Orlando is in West Kazakhstan Time according to the app. No way to quickly view my calendar based on a different time zone. Meeting creation - centered around contextual input, sometimes you just want to click some options. Defaults to all day events which also means an extra click.

Great product, but a little pricy

Fantastical has strong NLP such that when I say "lunch on Friday at noon" it knows exactly what I mean and puts it directly on my calendar. It's really easy to use and integrates well with video conferencing tools like Google and Zoom.

단점:

I wish I could pay a one time fee instead of paying a subscription. Sometimes the calenda syncing is a bit off (but typically straightens out by the end of the day).

One of the best iOS calendar apps

주석: Overall the tool is very good and easy to use, Fantastical is light on the eyes and with a lovely interface. Does everything it's meant to do and I'm sure it will only get better.

장점:

The best thing about this tool is it gives you everything in one place. Address book, notifications and alerts, calendar sync and even email management. These are only some of the features I like most.

단점:

Can't say a bad thing about Fantastical.
