I love using Gem and their team!

주석: Through my experience working with Gem I've been able to harness our recruiting data to allow is to make huge strides with our Diversity recruiting goals as well as uncover insights that help us re-organize and become a more efficient team. The team at Gem has been very helpful and I love partnering with them as they certainly have been committed to enabling us to achieve our goals.

장점:

I love that it gives us the ability to track our recruiting efforts towards our Diversity goals. I also love how easy it is to automate sequences and email campaigns while also providing quantifiable data so we can continue to iterate on our strategies. Lastly, the reports are great to view recruiting pipeline health.

단점:

Whenever I think of something that could be improved on the team is quick to help me find the solution. I really enjoy partnering with their CS team.

Great Recruiting & Sourcing Tool!

주석: Overall, Gem is a great tool for any company's recruiting stack. It's got a ton of features, great integrations, and they're backed by top tier VCs!

I like that Gem has a strong database of email addresses that they verify, their reporting and analytics is very useful for identifying bottlenecks in the recruiting & sourcing process, reviewing top of funnel metrics for the team, and measuring template effectiveness when reaching out to candidates.

단점:

I believe the user interface is a bit clunky and could honestly use a design make-over.

Easy to use, however better platforms exist

주석: Used to use and adopt to however lacks important features other softwares provides

장점:

It’s easy to use and provides valuable analytics on candidates

단점:

You can’t download the candidate list which is frustrating and it is lacking other features

GEM it is

주석: Gem is really good for recruitment and obtaining data for better outreach, especially in Recruitment and HR roles.

장점:

This platform is really good especially in sourcing as it has automatic sequencing that will send follow-up emails which is time-saving. You could also integrate other software tools for seamless transfer of data.

단점:

interface as it's a little confusing but when you get the hang of it then you get comfortable

Gem is the best tool for sourcing on the market

장점:

Gem has made sourcing so much simpler, our ability to track our pipeline very simple, and I can look through my statistics and make adjustments based on the data. It's very easy to use, I've been able to teach my peers and hiring managers how to use and implement within 30 minutes and have them up and running! It integrates with Greenhouse very easily. The ability to nurture email campaigns to candidates is the best I've ever found.

단점:

Occasionally the data can be incorrect, but that is one of the only cons about gem. I wish we could see the likely hood of a candidate to respond would be helpful moving forward. I also wish it would allow for an easier scheduling method for inmails and the ability to mark those in your response rates.

GEM works!

주석: My experience with GEM has been really good, once I was able to use the software for a while. It was a learning curve but the articles and questions to answers GEM provides are helpful. I do feel there could be even more clarification to questions. The answers seem limited.

장점:

I like that this software is user friendly, and it helps tremendously in outreaches to candidates. The data and analytics provided really give you a great look into trends and patterns which help the whole sourcing and recruiting process.

단점:

I do find in some areas, the process of sending outreaches could be more clear. Specifically sending emails, vs inmails, there are different steps after the process such as "TO DO's" that may be missed if you didn't know they were needed.

One of the best sourcing tools in the market!

주석: Excellent, it beats any other sourcing tool out there.

장점:

Achieving superb response rate thanks to the sequences and how easy they are to set up. Not only it allows personalisation at scale, but it also gives you the tools to send highly personalised messages. Their reporting and analytics tool has saved me lots of time and is well-rounded in terms of the info that you can download from candidates.

단점:

There are mainly 2 things that I would love for them to improve: Making sure that the email that gem is showing is actually the email of the candidate (would be nice to know how it was generated to double check). It would be great if you could select candidates from a peoject/sequence and only download the info of those.

Amazing tool to source for candidates

주석: I enjoy using Gem. It's a great tool that has kept on changing since early on. They keep making it better.

장점:

- It's easy to send messages, engage with candidates by setting up reminders. Also, great analytics data.

단점:

The only feature that is missing is adding information when a prospect accepts the invitation to connect on LinkedIn. It has to be added as an InMail instead of using the personal LinkedIn messaging service.

Gem beautifully automates so much of sourcing outreaches and reporting with graphs

장점:

Categorizing prospects into projects, automatic detection of whether they replied to outreaches, the sequence/outreach automation is great, the data analytics seem helpful too though I haven't spent much time on it.

단점:

I had to troubleshoot with tech support about correctly counting prospects as converted to candidates since at first it wasn't doing that for all candidates that were in our ATS, but it seems to have self-corrected or been corrected by support. I'd make it a little easier to add notes about candidates and make them visible on the project columns, and also make a way to manually mark as converted to candidate on the ATS (maybe by linking on the ATS) if it doesn't automatically detect. Also I'm not sure why I sometimes have to manually add in a prospects info when adding to Gem from Linkedin, but if that could be better automated that could save time and make sourcing less burdensome.

Turbo-charging Recruiting

주석: Overall I feel like utilizing Gem in my sourcing/recruiting function provides me with a competitive advantage to help attract and engage candidates.

장점:

Integrates seamlessly with ATS, LinkedIn, Calendly, etc. and provides excellent data on effectiveness of outreaches, candidate engagement with messaging (open rates, click rates, etc.), and qualitative sourcing information.

단점:

Sometimes the "download as pdf" feature can be a little slow or buggy, but it's generally responsive.

Gem is ESSENTIAL to your recruiting needs!

주석: I have been using Gem for over two years and can't imagine recruiting without it. It keeps candidates organized, the AI is amazing, and its a great resource for reaching out to people that you could have never reached out to before.

장점:

I love that you can track who has opened your messages, clicked on your links, email got bounced, etc. It really helps to target people so that they can actually view your message. This is essential to recruiting since half the battle is getting your message to the candidate in the first place.

단점:

I think the filters could be more easily used. I am often trying to filter and not sure the EXACT words used to filter through my candidates. Having a go-to list would be great. Ex: unopened, read, etc.

Close to perfect

장점:

I love the amount of features I can leverage without feeling overwhelmed by the amount of information. Gem feels very intuitive and well-designed. The feature I love the most are sequences (and their analytics), which are the biggest time saver & continuous improvement tool when it comes to messaging candidates.

단점:

Although I love sequences, I wish there was a way to automate LinkedIn messages as well, which are currently semi-manual (still very intuitive with an easy copy/paste interface and reminders). The other thing I'm missing is more visual alerts on active candidates, so team mess-ups can be avoided for candidates who have recent activity or important notes in their activity tab, which sometimes doesn't show up in the sidebar overview.

Gem is legit

주석: Gem has made it incredibly easy to schedule multiple tailored messages to candidates and easily keep track of their responses. It allows me to share candidates and notes with hiring teams.

I use the projects and sequences daily. They are an incredibly powerful way to coordinate outreach across myself and my hiring team. They are a force multiplier in terms of our outreach. Also the ability to visualize our talent pipeline is incredible.

단점:

I honestly don't have complaints about it. I know that sounds made up. There are features I haven't used much, like prospecting, but it does most of the things I want from it seamlessly.

Amazing recruiting tool

장점:

What I like the most about using gem is that I forgot to use old spreadsheets and I don't longer have to send manual follow-ups. I like that everything is automatic. I can work at any time and schedule messages without worrying about doing the work at a specific time.

단점:

From time to time, there are technical glitches; however, those are usually solved within minutes or on the day!

My only must have tool outside of LinkedIn Recruiter and an ATS

장점:

I like how you can set up drip email campaigns and even thought sending inmails is manual, it's much better to remind you when you have to send that follow up(2nd, 3rd) whereas before it would be a one and done.

단점:

I'm curious to explore more about the pipeline/stage analystics connected with Greenhouse

Gem - A Manager's Perspective

장점:

Gem was always the sourcing tool I wished I had when I was an individual contributor. As a manager, it is important that my team has the best tools to be competitive, to be successful, and to have fun with the job. Gem allows my team to source without feeling like they are limited by their tools. As a manager, Gem allows me to examine the top of the funnel and report back to the business in ways that ATS reporting just can't provide.

단점:

I would like to understand why sourcers love it, but recruiters don't seem to adopt so easily.

Cuts my work hours in half!

주석: 8/10 very satisfied.

It saves me so much with follow-ups, especially since I work on a high volume focused environment.

단점:

Sometimes, it can really slow down my computer/takes a while to load reports or send bulk messages.

Essential to competitive recruiting operations!

주석: I was customer #10, I love Gem!

Email sequences! Sourcing is all about the follow up!

단점:

No Inmail sequences! Even though I know LinkedIn is a walled garden as far as integrations go.

Recruiter's Dream

주석: Overall I love it and I wholeheartedly know it saves me a ton of time! Thank you Gem!

장점:

It saves SO much time! It saves you a lot of typing as well, so it saves you ergonomically as well! I love how you can set templates for projects, that they are timed, and that they stop when someone replies... it is very intuitive and smartly made.

단점:

I would love a pop out of the person's LinkedIn page for a quick glance, rather than needing to open a whole new tab to see their profile from a sequence/project.

Gem is a great tool to ease up the recruiting process, specially for sourcers!

주석: It's been great. This is the first tool I've used in this industry and it was so easy to learn that it says a lot about the tool itself. For someone with zero experience to learn it this quick, it is a well developed piece of software that I'd recommend to anyone.

It's too easy to use and it helps me achieve all of my daily goals and therefore become a better sourcer. Helping my employer find the best candidates in the market.

단점:

The fact that I'm unable to send mass Inmails as we do with emails.

Gem is the champ in candidate outreach

장점:

Easy to use the product, makes outreach seamless!

단점:

The UI is a bit janky, could be a prettier design.

Gem helps get a higher response rate from Senior passive talent.

장점:

It's easy to use, and creating a sequence is simple and fast. I also likes that it can operate as a Google Chrome extension. Quick access to saved project folders and sequences for fast workflow.

단점:

Nothing. Nothing desired from it. Seems effective.

Very Effective and Useful

주석: Amazing.

장점:

Mass communication to candidates. Automatic completing of sequences. Gem saves a lot of time when initially contacting prospects.

단점:

I do not have something that I like the "least".

Gem helps us scale our sourcing

주석: I love the start-up vibe they have and very helpful and competent team even if our timezones does not match. This is definitely a product that saves time and gives you and advantage compared to other companies.

장점:

The features that we use the most are sourcing for contact information and from then on send email workflows to save time and automate a big part of our work.

단점:

There are some features that are in the product, but not included if you don't pay an extra amount. The product costs a bit so I would love to have that included as well. Not yet an integration to our ATS Teamtailor, but its on the way.

This product is truly a Gem!

주석: As soon as you get full buy in from the team, Gem has been our source of truth for all things sourcing. We use it to gauge our diversity efforts as well as our overall top funnel recruiting activity.

We've used this product for about a yr now and it's our go to for all things sourcing. We use it to log Linkedin reach outs and of course send direct emails. The reporting is fantastic and I really rely on it to see how my team is doing.

단점:

They are still early in their lifecycles so sometimes things can break. We've had times when it stopped working but their team is quick about addressing the issue. Customer service can take a bit long to respond but again that might just be because they are scaling quite fast.
