Great phone scanner

주석: Overall I have had a pretty pleasant experience using Microsoft lense.

장점:

I like how straight forward it is to use Microsoft lens and being able to save the files I scan to my OneDrive.

단점:

Unless the handwriting is super clean and clear, I wouldn't suggest using the ocr feature. Ocr work well on printed text and unless the handwritten text is clear and clean it will struggle to produce the correct words.

Mobile scanner - Microsoft product, good as expected.

주석: As a microsoft product its very easy to use and fills my daily needs perfectly. As a civil engineer i need to take so many scan/photos of official document.
Without loosing the quality i am able to take images perfectly . Editing files is good option i used continuously.
Since its very user friendly , takes me less time used to it.

Very easy to use Microsoft lens, user interface is good, takes less time to master it. Taking photos of paper documents and making PDF is very quick, especially you don't have scanner nearby. Besides you can edit the pdf or documents and send the files to other teammates. It can capture whiteboard also ,it reduces my workload , after meeting just taking the photos and send to all participants. Positioning the images is key here when capturing images, text identify result is pretty accurate .

단점:

Sometimes i feel like text are not perfectly captured, need to take again steadily to resolve the issue.

Mice office lens

주석: It good uses for business purposes

장점:

Dynamics of new features and always improving with new technology for future use , everything you needed is on one particular place

단점:

Always need update it requires a lot data networks and It consumer q lot of space in computer sometimes it over heating leading to computer to be slower when functioning

My experience with Microsoft Office Lens

주석: At work, I have needed formal documents without a watermark, which is why this application has helped me a lot. I also like the option to save the image in JPG format in the phone gallery for other purposes. The use is quick and easy to understand, it is free and does not require an account for the necessary features. I can confidently recommend this app to my colleagues.

The application is fast to detect the text or area of interest to be scanned. It also provides appropriate options for editing the image. The options for saving and sharing in other formats are very clear. Something good too, is not having a watermark on PDF files.

단점:

Although the application does a good job detecting the document to be scanned, it cannot correctly adjust the image when it is taken from the side or at steep angles. For best results, you need to carefully position the camera in front of the document. In addition, the application should improve the immersive reader option, which still makes errors in character recognition.

Very good image and PDF scanner to scan a few documents or ID cards

주석: The Microsoft lens is a good tool for scanning images and documents. But managing a large number of scanned documents is difficult.

The quality of the scanned images is very good. The app can show the area to crop while taking the photo. This is a unique feature most similar apps lack. They show the crop area only after capturing the photo but not during capturing. Showing the crop area during capturing gives an idea regarding the final output image. Auto-detection of the crop area is also better than many other apps. Further, the app is advertisement free.

단점:

The app lacks any folder to organise the scanned images. Also, there is no option just to select a few images and export them as a PDF. The export PDF option is only available just after scanning. Overall, I didn't like the organisation of managing the scanned files. Scanning a large number of pages and probably multiple of them is difficult.

What I think about Microsoft Office Lens

주석: I use it to scan images with texts that I want to keep saved (newsletters, documents, etc.). The repositioning of the photo is great and helps to make all text readable.

Easy to use, good filters and scaling to scan images. Direct and effective storage and sharing.

단점:

Perhaps the theme and layout could be made more interesting, customizable and with a more pleasant appearance.

Well, I like the fast detection of documents when I use it, and it's ability to make a hole small book, also the conversion between images and pdf

Well it's very good, especially the last version. I don't find anything annoying or bad services.

I find Microsoft lens to be much more useful than the Google version Google they have theirs specifically for bringing up pictures to go directly to products to buy but you can't use it for anything useful like people's faces or locations or any of that kind of stuff where Microsoft lens seems to be a little bit more robust and a little bit more flexible. I've been able to locate things with lens that I couldn't get any type of a hit or recognition from the other search engine. Microsoft did a really good job with their overall scheme of implementation and the usefulness of the product It doesn't just go to a sales thing it can look for other things as well.

단점:

Still I find that there a little bit too geared toward selling and not helping you discover something that you're looking for. Anything that is for sale comes to the top of the list and you might not even get what you're looking for which could just be an identification of what a product is or what something is because it's an antique or something like that. But still all in all it's pretty solid for the use cases that they have a designed for

Its being over 20 yrs I a have being 20 yrs I being using this software apart from the existing features lots of new features are added over the years like autosave, now days it understands what you want to type ....Its simple to use and value for money. It can be any application I use from Word to excel or powerpoint the experience is amazing...You dont get lost if don't know anything the help button helps you...

단점:

Frankly there is nothing I really miss in the software . Almost all the features are there in the package.Only thing is it takes time to load otherwise its amazing

I've never had any problems. However, it has a limitation that is the user's own, depending on the hardware of the equipment, it may be that a smartphone as a simpler camera cannot achieve an image quality.

One of the best scanning app that I have used. Once you login with your onedrive all the files that you scan will get synchronized and will be available in your onedrive which can be accessed any device with onedrive logged in.

단점:

It perfectly works for all my needs, I mainly use this for scanning the documents as PDF.

All readable and text documents are scanned by Microsoft lens i.e Microsoft lens scan hardcopy documents to soft copy which can edited and shared.

단점:

Microsoft lens makes whiteboards pdt documents hence is only the reason for using Microsoft lens hence the goal is achieved.

Love Microsoft Office Lens

주석: I am saving my company a lot of time by using Office Lens. This is a very fast and easy way to send PDF's.

I love that i could scan stuff very easily by just taking a picture it automatically crops it for me, and it's ready to go. Easy as 1 - 2 - 3.

Theirs nothing bad to say about this application.

Converting documents to digital.

주석: I scanned and saved all my physical documens like diplomas, IDs, bills with Microsoft Lens.

I like basic scanning and sharing feature. It works like physical scanner. With taking photo it's done to have bills as PDF. Documents can be shared as PDF or JPG or PNG.

It would be better if there is folder or labelling feature.

Really cool features

주석: Overall, Office lens is a must-have application for every person that has either a Office 365 account or a personal Microsoft account. I use it almost every day to capture pictures of whiteboard drawings and upload them automatically to my OneNote.

It is really convenient to have a mobile scanner that uploads pictures taken of printed documents, whiteboards and even spreadsheets and converts them and stores in your preferred cloud storage solution.

단점:

It can be a bit confusing to set up, especially if you have both a personal Microsoft account and a Work or School account (Office 365) on your mobile. Sometimes it wants to save to your personal OneDrive but tries to authenticate with your work credentials.

Why Microsoft Office Lens

주석: To be Honest MS Office Lens is really saving time by its text extracting tools and scanning feature.

following features really impressed me; 1. by taking picture of any written form you can easily extract the text and simply copy it to MS words and save the time of typing 2. one can scan the documents and adds pages by scaning others by using camera and then convert it to desired format either PDF, DOCX, WORD, EXCEL 3. one can extract the tables as well

단점:

only thing that i least like about MS Office Lens is, some of its features are to purchased which are bit expensive
