LoopEdge option for connection with industrial equipment
장점:
The device offered by Litmus called Loopedge is an excellent product since it is an easy-to-use tool, it has various types of communication, which can be used to connect industrial equipment. you can program a vizualizacion very fast and simple. it is also easy to link with other existing applications and excellent support.
단점:
sometimes it does not allow to save the changes made in the Flows

주석: In my experience is a good tool to integrate different devices and collect data to get a good data analysis
장점:
About connectivity i think is a great tool because has the possibility to add several devices of different brands(Siemens, Honeywell, Omron, etc... ) I think is very easy the way to add each device. Condition to different db instances, it make from this a big IIoT tool.
단점:
Yo need enough experience in the use of develop languages(json, jscrip, html, etc..) You need training about Node Red for example to use flows
Good Edge Device
주석: The flexible programming via NodeRed is very helpful if one wants to process and Display data. In one Project, we had to implement a lot of logic. There, we observed that the user interface lags a lot. Several times we made the experience that the flows Service hangs and has to be restarted from the console. We use the console rather often, which is necessary but not really intended by the Vendor. Besides this, it is very convenient to add new data channels and to quickly provide the data to Operators on a Dashboard.

It is very easy to connect a PLC and to get data from it
단점:
Connection to database requires explicit insert Statements. Other Vendors (e.g. Inductive automation) offer db Connection that can be established without db programming knowledge
About Litmus

Flexibility of the solution, with multiple opportunity platform. Easy connection with support of all of ours PLC types
단점:
Sometimes some issues with hanging, integration to existing architecture sometimes tricky
Loop Edge Review
장점:
The loop edge platform is very intuitive and bridges the gap of having certain technical expertise to connect to the data sources and configuring data tags. Every module is designed thoughtfully to categorize into different steps of data acquisition & processing
단점:
The Loop edge is missing the Asset framework associated to the data. Since this edge solution is built for IIoT applications, the data we're dealing with is obviously from the assets. This reference is missing in the data infrastructure of loop edge. This same context can also be utilized to define DBA in the cloud storage northbound. I firmly believe that the Asset hierarchy/folders and a digital twin should be incorporated into the Loop Edge framework to streamline the DAQ and Processing.

Easy deployment, simple connectors to plc and IOT, databases etc

missing features are added on roadmap, if not there is still excellent support to help me.
Intelligent Edge Connectivity - Made Easy
장점:
Litmus Edge is our number 1# choice in OT data ingestion in the factory into Cloudera's enterprise data platform and Cloudera Data Flow. The drag and drop integration makes OT data stream ingestion super easy. They have a well planned 90 day evaluation and on-boarding plan that is well oiled and works. I guess to sum up the entire experience is seamless and easy from software evaluation, to software implementation, scalability to pricing and contract execution.
단점:
This is a difficult question as we haven't found a deficiency in the product. As this is part of an entire IT/OT solution stack, insuring clarity of support and ownership as an integrated solution is top of mind

It is necessary to have a real knowledge of NodeRed
Loop Edge Platform
장점:
Ease of use 8/10. Easy to add devices and search for tags.
단점:
Cannot install external nodes. Flows stopped sending data at times. Not enough resources for Loop Flows.
