Dynamsoft Barcode Reader SDK review

장점:

The most i like in the Dynamsoft barcode reader sdk that it's easy to intergrat in the code and it can read the 2D Barcode(datamatrix) in different backgrounds (Color ) with a high level of accuracy wich make the sdk so usefull and powerfull , we shouldnt forget to mention the professionel service of the support .

단점:

Dynamsoft barcode reader SDK do the job with a great level of accuracy that i look for in my application

Drivers License scanning solution

주석: A+ overall experience! Our developers were able to quickly integrate this with our existing codebase, and our users love it.

장점:

We initially used the JavaScript solution in our PWA (progressive web app), which worked great. It allowed our web app to use a mobile device's camera to scan licenses & import all data into our systems. After initial setup, it worked flawlessly for our users, and was simple, intuitive and required zero training. Our web app has grown & morphed into an Ionic Hybrid app that is available in the iOS App Store & Google PlayStore. Although the initial javascript implementation still worked, we upgraded to the Capacitor version to gain additional controls over the device's camera functionality, such as using the flash's torch feature. This helped users to easily scan drivers licenses, even in low light situations.

단점:

As with any new software component, there are integration issues. However, with the help of Dynamsoft' support team, we were able to quickly overcome these issues, as well as get our questions answered in a timely basis.

Seems good on native

장점:

Dynamsoft customer support is great and the product seems to work well on native mobile.

단점:

There isn't great Flutter support which means it's a serious engineering effort to integrate.

Good Support

주석: I needed the software to allow customers to use his/her phone to scan barcodes. Overall the Dynamsoft Barcode Reader has provided what I needed.

장점:

I wanted a javascript library that allowed all of the processing to be done on the client and doesn't make a call back to a central server. Dynamsoft Barcode Reader met these requirements. When I an considering purchasing software, the technical support is also a very important part of the decision. I have always received timely and helpful responses when I have needed assistance.

단점:

I had a difficult time changing some of the scanner resolution settings to get the software to work across multiple browsers. Technical support helped me resolve this issue though.

Dynamsoft Barcode Reader SDK is a MUST HAVE

주석: Our main product is a softwaresuite for EOL testing. We have all different kinds of products tested on our systems, therefore the barcodes have to be recognized fast and are applied to many different materials. Our experience with Dynamsoft was outstanding.

장점:

The component has very strong recognition capabilities even if you use the default settings. With all the options the component offers you can easily adjust settings to get great results even in sophisticated scenarios. The integration in our .NET environment was very smooth.

단점:

Parts of the api are in my opinion a little too flexible, i.e. the recognition area can be specified in a json based way which is error prone and from the api usage perspective not very practical.

Best Barcode Reader on the market

장점:

The barcode reader is super easy to implement. There are plenty of examples and documentation. The support team is top tier and responds very quickly. Overall, we have been using this product for years without any issues.

단점:

The licensing is fairly complex and in most cases requires a check-in with the dynamsoft servers. An auto renew feature would be nice. Having to upgrade the license for each new version of the SDK is also a little frustrating.

Critical Integrated Component

주석: once established in our platform, the product works extremely well and is very reliable with no reported defects post-deployment.

For our end consumer of the associated product, the ease of use is extremely important. While in the past there was some level of difficulty in upgrading the established product to the new release version, at least Dynamsoft technical staff were able to assist the development team in getting the upgraded version incorporated and functional within our product.

단점:

The coordination of the licensing and upgrading to new release versions should be smoother for Dynamsoft customers.

Best QR-Code scanning library out there!

주석: Other than this (long licence seat "free"ing period) - great software fully woth it's money!

장점:

Superfast, robust library. Integrating into our software was like "plug-and-play".Scanning speed and quality is outstanding! Even with simple 1Mpix cameras QR-codes are scanned flawlessly fast!

단점:

Licensing model has one little annoyance - Licence seats are "freed" once every 90 days if device is not used.Really wish it was a bit reduced to say - 30 days.

Dynamsoft Barcode reader works flawlessly

주석: Our document imaging software that was developed in house and replaced a purchased product (DocMan) was implemented in 2015 and currently scans approximately 13,000 document a day.

Ease of integration into software, Ease of use and accuracy of the barcode reader

Everything worked as advertised, support was fast when ever a question was posed

Fabulous Product!

The software was simply to integrate using the JavaScript SDK, and it just…. work. No fuss, no problems. We completed the integration in under 30 minutes.

단점:

I’ve yet to have an issue. The product is fabulous.

Great barcode reader

Integrated the JS sdk in a couple days, and works a charm every single time. Very happy client.

단점:

Nothing,it was brilliant and my team and I had no issues integrating it.

Dynamsoft helps streamline otherwise repetitive mechanical functions for a user, helping optimize the workflow in a way most users don't value until they try it

At the moment we don't have complaints. It was easy to set up and easier to use

the best program

Recognize all barcodes in an instant. It's a very accurate program. I'm very satisfied at work.

단점:

There are no drawbacks. Everything is perfect. I'm planning to continue using it.

Dynamsoft is effective and have very good customer support

주석: In Nomeco we build a web app for our customers, so they can scan their recieved goods with an iPad.

장점:

The integration is very easy and the customer support is also great.

단점:

It's maybe not particularly the software, but we have customers that experience issues with the connection to the scanner on their iPad. Customers Support is still working on what we can do to eliminate this small problem.

Faster

장점:

The tests we did gave a much better result than other competing services

단점:

Probably the reading of several barcodes from the same document.

Dynamsoft Barcode Reader SDK beginner user

장점:

Easy implementation. and the reading was ok according to my current qrcodes examples

단점:

Probably the cost to include all barcodes

Dynamsoft JS Barcode Reader was just what we were looking for.

주석: From the generous trial period, the clear examples, to the expediency of customer service when we accidently purchased the wrong license, it's been a pleasure to work with.

장점:

By far, the most important reason we decided on the Dynamsoft JS Barcode Reader , was that it just worked. On every smartphone and tablet we tried it on, it just worked. From a support point-of-view, that is a bargain.

단점:

If I find something I don't like, I will be sure to update this review. As of today, it's 100% fulfilled our requirements.
