주석: RemotePC is cheaper than the competition, with all the features I need.

장점:

Price: RemotePC is cheaper than the competition. I previously used another program (ZOHO Assist) but was looking for something better, but also cheaper if possible. RemotePC is cheaper, especially since I got the special discount for getting a 2-year subscription.Audio chat:I use RemotePC to hop onto computers of friends and family to help them fix things and troubleshoot. The video chat functionality is extra cool as we can can video or audio chat while I help them fix things on their computer.Good connection:I have fibre optic internet but the people I help remotely often have pretty terrible internet and yet it works perfectly.

단점:

A minor thing but I don't need the video aspect of Video chat, I just use it to chat to the person I am helping by voice. A simple audio chat feature would be cool.

Simple, inexpensive, reliable.

주석: I've been using Remote PC for few years now and recommend it to many people. For some reason it is not very known in industrial automation world. I used before Go To My PC and TeamViewer, didn't notice much difference except price.

장점:

Price is reasonable unlike many competitors. Have all features needed for remote access and control. Easy to setup and use. Doesn't have tons of settings, which is usually nothing but headache. Very reliable. One of my remote computers gets accessed once in few month and its always online. Very pleased.

단점:

I didn't experienced any issues with this software. Maybe user interface in not most intuitive, take few seconds for new user to figure how to add computer to the fleet.

Don't ever rely on this software!!

주석: Overall experience is poor, have had several time consuming chat sessions and the answer is always to "update to the latest version" - which makes no difference.

I liked the appeal of the price.... but I soon learnt you get what you pay for!

Unreliable, don't ever install this where remote access to a machine is critical - it will let you down! Buggy, crashes all the time with various software exceptions, file transfer is is a guessing game as to whether it will do it/has done it, client machines continuously need the software processes killing via task manager and then re starting to get it to work - this is exaggerated on pcs with multiple user accounts as switching users seems to cause it to hang consistently. Also has a habit of reporting that a session is in progress when it is not. I was a Logmein user for years before switching to this product so no stranger to remote software. Logmein might be more expensive but it is in a completely different league to RemotePC

Good remote software

주석: Been using it for a little under a month and overall I am content that we didnt have to break the bank to get a fully featured remote software license.

Compared to other options on the market RemotePC is among the most cost effective (even if you dont get a promo price) offering the most bang for your buck with its features.

단점:

Sometimes not as fluid as anydesk or teamviewer but tolerable.

Surprised by so this product when looking for some alternative

주석: Haven't been using it very intensively so far because of mid-term health issues when I'm limited regarding the amount of work I usually do, but overally I'm happy with RemotePC

Simple setup, rich options to configure, smooth performance

It's not a matter of life and death, but modern design of GUI would be welcome

Positive remote support

주석: It is an excellent Product and a very affordable

It is just laggy sometimes when it takes more time to use

Remote PC the best remote access experience

주석: The best experience in remote access, overall, it exceeded our Team expectations.

장점:

It offers convenience, flexibility, and efficiency. It has allowed our team to access our office computers from anywhere, and it has allowed the whole team to collaborate in real-time, enhancing productivity at 100% and reducing downtime.

단점:

Nothing really so far it has been a great experience, we were using TeamViewer and Remote PC is much better, and it has become our application of choice for remote access.

Works Great, Easy to Use, Good value

장점:

I used RealVNC before and now that they are getting rid of their free version I decided to try other options. RemoteVNC is less expensive than RealVNC, and I think RemoteVNC has a better user interface when it comes to multiple monitors.

단점:

Nothing. Everything seems to work as it should.

Excellent product!

장점:

As a software services provider I have used many remote support options. The ease of configuration including full access to control remote PC's is the highlight for me.

단점:

So far so good, I have nothing specific that I don't like.

Remote desktop easily

장점:

Connecting and remote connection with desktop using RemotePC is very easy and can be setup as fast as under 1 minute. I use it to solved minor problem on my colleague desktop from my workstation.

단점:

It need a strong and stable internet connection on my end and the target desktop to have a smooth connectivity.

A great product for a reasonable price.

주석: Remote access and remote file transfer are both easy and relatively reliable, with the exception of what I mentioned under "cons". Security is good. Feature set seems good, even if I don't think I'll be using a number of the other available features. Great value for the product.

I appreciate both the ease of use of the product and it's constant security to ensure that whomever is trying to access a given machine is authorized to do so.

단점:

The software can sometimes randomly disconnect during a session and needs to reconnect or I need to close the window and reconnect. It's not often, and not a critical problem, but I've notice it has happened on a few of the remote control sessions that I've done so far. Perhaps the software need a slightly better timeout/critical action handling function to more seamlessly deal with this type of situation so it's less obvious/intrusive to the user. I'm not on low-bandwidth connections, so that doesn't seem like it's the issue.

RemotePC

주석: We used it to provide remote support to users at and found it to be very easy to use.

We use the remote computer management feature. The rollout was easy.

단점:

I don't like the fact that you allowed use remote desktop and then notified about a $20 fee.

A less expensive full featured alternative

주석: Overall, the experience has been very positive with ease of use and deployment.

장점:

Remote access, unattended access, and the ability to move files easily have all been game changers for our small agency. It was really easy to deploy across all of our computers and it has made it a breeze to be able to log in, move files, provide real time support, and ensure that our machines are as functional and safe as possible. We had previously been using an alternative that cost more and did not deliver as good of service without some limitations. We've been super happy with the switch and aren't planning to return to our prior program.

단점:

Overall, we have been really pleased with the product and haven't found the features that we use to be lacking. However, we are a really small organization with simpler needs and I can see that larger organizations with more complex needs may find the overall product to be a bit simple for their needs.

I'm coming back! Whoa. Teamviewer is not for me.

주석: I didn't appreciate them and switched to Teamviewer and it was the worst experience EVER. There's no way the Teamviewer reviews are real.

It is solid, affordable, they are a decent organization.

단점:

Sometimes it seems hard for my clients to use, but I'm going to figure that out.

A Superb Cost Effective option to the expensive competitor

주석: So far, its been wonderful.

장점:

After spending a year with a competitor, I loved that the switch to RemotePC was painless, quick and provided all the same functionality at a fraction of the cost with added Backup Options that are also easy to deploy and use. Something the competitor had but was not very clear on regarding the pricing. RemotePC was very direct and upfront on what you got for what you paid.

단점:

I have yet found something I did not like. Maybe not learning of RemotePC a year prior when I first paid for the competitor.

Remote working made possible for everyone

주석: In the short time that we had to switch our co-workers to allow them to work remotely at home, RemotePC really became a clutch tool since we were able to deploy it fast, and also because it had such a low learning curve, people who wasn't so computer savvy were able to work seemlessly.

장점:

We were pleasantly surprised on how easy it was to deploy this software to all of our users when we had to switch to a remotely operated work environment. Even people who weren't pro computer users, were able to easily login and start controlling their work PCs at home.

단점:

If there was a drawback, I would say the speed, but this is the problem with all remote desktop softwares. With RemotePC, you can at lease control it in a way so that you can slightly reduce the visual quality if you need the boost of speed.

New SOHO User

주석: So far after a few days I like the program. It is a good value.

장점:

Remote PC appeared to have benefit to our organization and I decided to give it a try. I have only employed it for a few days. My first connect was eventually successful with the help of help desk chat. The presentation of the remote screen, Mac as remote and PC as host, was clear, responsive and uncluttered. I can see it will take a while and some more coaching to fully understand and operate. I am up for that. It has been a good beginning.

단점:

I am an experienced PC user, but it will take watching videos, reading FAQs and coaching from the Help Desk to be fully up and running. It's not entirely intuitive.

Great Software, But Could Use Better Instructions

주석: I have used RemotePC daily for the last week in support of a client. It works exactly as I would have liked it to work. In one case, the keyboard stopped working, but I quickly fixed it by disconnecting and reconnecting. I love the fact that you can use the Attended Access feature without even installing the software on my PC.

Great price. Works well. Has two modes: Unattended and Attended Access. (The latter is perfect for remote support professionals.) From a trusted company.

단점:

Better documentation or user interface needed. Two examples: First, when an entry-level user wants to enable a second person to access his PC, the software should explain that the PC user must upgrade to a Soho account. This would not only reduce confusion but should also result in more upgrades. Second, the software should do a better job of explaining what the software does in Unattended Mode. RemotePC is basically two programs in one: Unattended Access, for someone who wants to access his own PC, and Attended Access, for someone who wants other to help other people.

Great software to work remotely

주석: It has been a savior for me, given that I used other software initially. It really helped me during the work-from-home phase, where a reliable remote access tool was the need of the hour.

It is a great tool to work with. Great features are easily accessible and usable. It works great for me even during a slow internet connection. Apart from remote access, it can also be used to transfer huge files.

단점:

User interface can be improved a bit. Also, prices can be made more affordable looking at the highly competitive market.

Great product and reasonable price.

I use remote desktop for support and for remote work when I'm away from the office. It is easy to use and it is a great value.

단점:

I don't have any negatives to discuss so far.

Thank God I found RemotePC

주석: I can keep up with the craziness of medical approvals and appointments et al. There is always a blue feather that someone somewhere requires that I go in quest of.

장점:

RemotePC is like a service I used more than 20 years ago and is about the same price for one person. I wanted a service that I could use with a web browser when I was at a motel provided computer or at the homes of friends or family. My current webmail site for my domain name is very bad-long story. And yet I need my email because multiple doctors are sending me many links to go to portals for instructions and these are very time sensitive at this point. Putting an App on someone else's computer won't work. The Lite connection is such a blessing. Nothing like working with your own email program and having access to your files, even your browsing history. I am relieved. I love it.

단점:

The Mac mouse doesn't work well with the Lite connection. Non Mac mice work fine. Maybe my daughter's Mac is just too old, but I can't get the application for connection to open. Happy to just use Lite on the Mac.

Easy to use and have everything I need

주석: I really enjoy using and is part of my daily tool belt now!

The east access is excellent and everything is very straightforward.

단점:

The UI needs an update. Although it is pretty clear what the buttons do, they are a bit outdated.

Great value for money!

장점:

Love the ease of use as well as value for money! Very reasonably priced compared to the other options available.

단점:

Sometimes we have issues getting a larger screen to appear on our view but I believe that's more with the monitors we are using and not the actual software issue

Work from anywhere - made easy!

장점:

No matter where I am, I can access my work computer and the files on there. I can even print on the work printer while I'm somewhere else. Lets me work with my team while not in the office!

단점:

There are times when the software lags a little bit, but I think that's more due to internet problems, and not the software itself. Save time, transfer the file you need to use to your laptop and don't rely on the internet.

Great Product

주석: Overall positive experience. Plan to renew when my plan expires.

Easy to use and guide others through setting up. Fast with few connectivity issues. Works over VPN. Full functionality that feels very natural like you are standing in front of the remote computer.

단점:

No major complaints come to mind. Works pretty much flawlessly with the computers/internet connections I've utilized it over.
