Top-notch tools

주석: My overall experience with samsara is outstanding.

장점:

Samsara allows me to accurately track and monitor my fleet of vehicles. Safety inspections allow tracking of vehicle service and maintenance. Also, the app allows drivers to login lunch breaks. This app has everything you need to monitor drivers and vehicles.

단점:

What I like least about samsara is the price of the service.

Samsara user.

주석: Like i said previously i never had any issues with it as a driver.

장점:

It never had any issues with the location and you were able to switch it to personal convenience while in motion.

단점:

I never had any issues with it. I was driving under someone else's company so it worked perfectly for me.

Delivery manager

주석: overall, the information provided is great, unsafe alerts, fuel usage, retrievable video ect.

장점:

live map of all units that are online and camera system. Receiving alerts when a unsafe act occurs.

단점:

customer support takes a while to respond.

Samsara Commited Fraud Against Our Company

주석: I was a customer of Samsara for over 2 years. After believing Samsara was a good company I referred other companies, also due to the referral incentives pushed by their sales associates. I referred a fleet over to Samsara after some time Samsara stop receiving payment from the referred company they decided to take money from my card on file monthly for that referred companies bill. I was unaware when it started thinking it was my monthly payment for my fleet of truck until one day I was looking through bank statements and noticed multiple payments being pulled monthly from Samsara. I immediately contacted their accounting department and was given the run around for nearly two months. After sometime a rep called me and basically said it was a mistake that must of been my fault and they will not be refunding over 3,000.00 that was deducted throughout nearly a year. I tried to reason with them as being a long time customer that they can pay me back slowly or work out some type of repayment and I was basically told they will not reimburse any of my money taken. I am taken the proper steps now to ensure I am reimbursed by Samsara since they were illegally pulling payments from my account for another trucking company's bill. I am also leaving this comment to make other customers aware of the shady business being performed behind closed doors.

I have no Pros after there was continuous issues throughout the time I was locked into my contract.

Gret system that is easy to use

주석: Samsara is a tool I use every day all day. When I talk to to other safety leaders I steer them towards smasara.

장점:

I have used numerous providers, samsara is #1 for me. Great support and very easy for admin and drivers to use.

단점:

The video capture can be a little time consuming. Diffacult to identify the time you need.

No major issues

주석: Overall good experiences and makes logging and keeping track of other drivers easy to maneuverer.

장점:

easy to use app features are east to understand and easy to read

단점:

logging out after completing post-trip doesn't always fully log out and when there is yard movement the driver is thrown back into driving.

Operations Project Coordinator

주석: Started using Samsara on a more regular basis since having to do reporting on efficiencies.

장점:

Dispatch options. Availability to customize reports.

단점:

Not always accurate as far as time in and out

Thumbs Up Samsara

주석: Installation was easy and Samsara provides many tools that assist with the process. The Samsara Academy allowed me to learn at my own pace and learn all the little things that help me tailor the system to serve the company's needs. Our account executive [sensitive content hidden] was there every time I needed him with quick responses.

장점:

I like the early access to BETA features; the dashboard is easy to navigate, and the option to provide feedback every step of the way shows Samsara is still improving every day.

단점:

We should've received extra double-sided adhesive tape for the cameras.

Logbook and tracking

주석: overall experince is good and its professional

장점:

customer service is perfect and answer every email

단점:

SAMSARA logbook not connecting giving trouble to teh driver

Easy ELD program

주석: We analyzed about six ELD programs before making the decision to go with Samsara. It has been an easy transition from paper log books to ELD for most of our drivers. The additional data we get on the truck performance is invaluable. We have been able to extract information to improve business performance over many categories. In addition, Samsara support has always been very quick to address our concerns or fix issues we find.

장점:

This program offers a lot of features and has allowed us to extract data that our small company did not previously have easy access to. Managing HOS, fuel usage, IFTA and more are easier now that we use Samsara. In addition, it is easy to use and even our least tech-savvy drivers have been able to use it without issue.

단점:

There are a lot of tweaks to the system on a regular basis, which sometimes affects the interface of the product. This confuses some of our drivers and is difficult to keep up with for those without much technical/computer knowledge.

Samsara Review

주석: The total experience has been far superior to any of the other ELD or GPS companies we've worked with in the past.

Customer fueled app and software updates.

단점:

The company is growing so fast that you lose grasp of your initial contact people to newer roles and have to revert back to their support email. Responses are still handled in a more than sufficient time frame though so it hasn't been a real issue.

Frontier

주석: We originally switched our dashcams to the Samsara Dashcam as our prior providers product was having issues being connected and recording when it was needed. The switch was easy and the product was excellent, through that we were able to get a preview of the other features available from Samsara. When we decided to make the switch for all of our telematics it was easy and straightforward. I was surprised at how effortless it was to connect our TMS software to Samsara.

The ease of use for both the driver and for the operations team is what stands out the most. Our drivers were able to pickup and use the Samsara ELD with little to no training as it is very intuitive.

단점:

I would like some more integration options with 3rd party vendors that integrate directly into the driver app and not require another app to operate (Navigation, scale/toll bypass).

Scammy company

장점:

They have some benefits, but I refuse to do business with companies like this. See review below

단점:

Company has poor customer service. We had 6 dashcams with them for 3 years and I wanted to cancel at the end of the contract. They have fine print in their contract that it will automatically renew at end of three years and you have to let them know 30 days in advance to cancel the renewal. I left them know at end and they refuse to refund me the entire next year charge. I would easily agree to pay them for one month extension, but no they want the entire $1600 for a whole year.. These are marks of a slimey/scammy company. Please stay away from this company. I have other products with this company on another contract and was planning to keep it long term, but not now. Good luck to this company to try to grow with this kind of policies and tactics. Check out Motive for their dashcams. They have just file lawsuit against Samsora.

The Best of Samsara

장점:

The use of Samsara has become our best friend when it comes to locating assets and drivers in real time day to day operations. Dash cams help you improve on the driver's behavior along with implementing the score cards for your fleet. Samsara has helped us improve with our fleet when it comes to monitoring speed and Driver behavior events. Reports help you vitalize the use of assets, drivers, Mills with geofences. Overall, Samsara is the #1 leading operation system for us.

단점:

Samsara Feedback

주석: Beside the good platform, my biggest concern is the customer service and support, i have been trying for several days to contact my representative without results, FRUSTRATION !!!

Easy and reliable, also easy to understand to the drivers

단점:

Customer support, If you need help you will die trying to get someone from support to help you instead os help they overrun you with emails from 6 or 7 representative asking same thing at same time and make you loose track of the conversation, also, after 30 min or 1 hour they rush to hang up on you to keep going, poor knowledge from the team explaining you contracts breakdowns

Great Asset

주석: Over all a great system for the money. Drivers take to it easily, dispatchers like the flexibility and versatility of tracking the trucks and seeing what is going on. It would be nice if you could hover or select a driver and visibly see something that tells how long they have been sitting rather than having to going into the trips and just see a paragraph that displays time.

장점:

Very easy to maneuver and learn features on the dashboard. App is easy to learn, even for our older non-tech drivers. Cameras have paid for themselves in the first year by being able to download and utilize for accidents.

단점:

App updates constantly, which is good that features are added. Most times though updates slow the app down if the update does not take automatically and locks up app. Since everyone has begun working from home and remotely, customer service has suffered and response time from email is very lacking, and when they do its the same scripted reply's. Initially someone would work through an issues with you on the phone, no so much anymore.

Samsara Journey

주석: Samsara has helped us with our safety bonus program, safety scores and increase fuel economy across the fleet.

Easy to grasp and continued improvements!

단점:

Nothing with Samsara but our TMS provider took a very long time to integrate.

Samsara ELD

장점:

Simplicity of the in cab system makes it easy for use for any Driver

단점:

I have no complaints about Samsara at all

주석: My overall experience with Samsara is good. I think it's worth its value with all of the applications and its ease of use. Not overcomplicated.

I enjoy using the App. I can monitor my feet from anywhere with Wi-Fi.

I wish there was a way to assign drivers using the Mobil App.

GPS Superiority

주석: It has been a great tool and one we use everyday and every hour. Camera features are amazing!

장점:

Easy to use and the accurate GPS makes giving our client exact ETA's when they request EXACT ETA's. The camera features are amazing

단점:

Customer Service needs to improve. When the customer has a problem we need to feel like we are being heard and that we are important, because our customers depend on us and we depend on GPS for every part of our business.

주석: We have been very happy with Customer service. The Cameras are very clear with good night vision as well.

장점:

Samsara has been an eye opener for us, not just in Compliance, but in aspects of safety as well. It has a built in accountability for each driver, and allows the Safety Director to access driving behavior as well. Speed, harsh braking and AI technology at stop signs has become a positive peer pressure for the drivers, at the same time reducing operating and maintenance costs per vehicle.

Two years of Use

주석: Helping to establish better driving accountability.Better maintenance of the fleet.Keep accurate track of mileage travelled on a daily basis for cost tracking.

Real Time Tracking is helpful in our business to have our vehicles location for giving delivery times to customers that aren't present when the deliveries are made, giving the time/date and a picture of our vehicle at their facility helps with proof of delivery.Maintenance tracking is helpful for keeping vehicles service intervals to be done on time with the alerts to show up before mileage has been reach.

단점:

Following distance notifications can be annoying when driving in heavy traffic because the settings are fairly sensitive.Downloading footage from cameras can very slow at times, not sure if that has to do with the cellar service or if there could be an update to improve that retrieval.

Samsara K&M Tire Review

장점:

Ease of Dashboard use and navigation Samsara's University and Training videos The Multitude of Reporting available In-Cab Alerts and ease of video footage pulling Alerts for users

단점:

Support Response Times - some times it takes a while to get an answer and then it's just a link to the Samsara help site, that I told support I had already checked. GPS/Speeds - GPS still pulls wrong roadways or shows the driver in a field. The speeds are still a manual update, stating the speed is 25mph when it's actually 55mph or 60mph.
