The Best Martial Arts Software out there!

주석: I had started with a competing product and while it kind of did what I needed it was just... meh. I switched to GymDesk and could not be any happier - it does exactly what I was looking for in a school management software at a very reasonable price!

장점:

- Easy to use - One stop shop - the creators have thought of everything - Simple for members - Website is connected directly to the back end which is connected to the online shop and Point of Sale which keeps everything simple

단점:

- Would like a little more flexibility on the Design templates for the website - Sometimes the help can be a little tricky to navigate but jumping on the Live Chat solves things in minutes!

Gymdesk nailed it

주석: Excellent. I would highly recommend any gym owner give gymdesk a shot. Even if it wasn't for you (and I'd be surprised if it wasn't), you lose nothing by trying.

Very easy to use Lots of built in features No upsell No sales team/sales pitches Excellent customer service. You email, they get back to you quickly. Simple as that. Tons of online content: youtube videos, articles, podcasts, etc.

단점:

It does not pair super well with Square. There are some limitations to how you can use the physical POS with it. I hear stripe is the better option in this case.

TERRIBLE customer service and support--simply terrible.

주석: Terrible. I am cancelling and going with the company's competitor. At least they provide a customer service phone number.

It is an OKAY membership management platform.

Gymdesk's customer service and support is TERRIBLE. For one, they do not provide a phone number at ALL. After several emails asking for a callback, someone responded back that they do NOT do CALLBACKS but that they would SCHEDULE a customer service call. Really? Okay, yes, let's do that. What a pain. Especially because I am calling about the 3 THREE charges a month that my $75 a month service is supposed to cost.

Awesome software

주석: Product is great and customer service is great. Any time we have had a problem, which has been very few times, they have responded and resolved quickly

Excellent! Highly Effective Gym Management Tool!!

주석: Overall, I am VERY happy with the decision to begin using GymDesk for our membership management. It is easy for us and our members, the price is very reasonable, and the value is DEFINITELY there!

We struggled to find an effective tool for tracking our members, memberships, and leads within a single tool. The ability to input leads and walk through the onboarding process with them and follow them through to membership and renewals has been a game-changer for our administrative functions. Additionally, the ease with which we were able to integrate our existing payment processing systems has been nice (since we don't need to get multiple processors). The website templating is also a nice tool. We are not particularly skilled at making and managing websites, so having this template has been super nice. Well done!

단점:

There are only a couple of tools that don't have quite the robustness that I would like. Specifically, the skills tracking tool is a great idea, but I would like to be able to customize it a little bit more that I can now.

Amazing for moving from the old school ways

주석: Great! Effective in exactly what we needed. the different channels in managing members helped up update from our old school system.

장점:

The options to manage each membership and edit the clients details accurately. Keeping pricing continuously updated and getting reminders on if we need to update.

단점:

I very much love this service, however we did need to update our wifi to have the best and easiest running time

I absolutely love this software. The customer service, how user friendly the software is, the troubleshooting support, and all of the different functions that the software offers is amazing. Based on all of the things each software pricing level offers, Gymdesk sets itself MUCH higher over other software programs available. I would recommend to anyone.

단점:

There are some features i wish there would be more options for customization.

Excellent software to manage a martial arts school

주석: I don't have to manually keep tabs on when students need to pay. It's much easier to have the system remind them rather than me. I like that fact that I can run the website, billing, attendance, and marketing all in one system!

The system is very straightforward and not difficult to learn. The support is fantastic. Any questions I had were addressed in a very timely manner. The price is right for a small martial arts school to be able to save time managing the business side of running a school.

단점:

Overall, the software is great but some a couple more customizations would be nice. Being able to customize the dashboard to display what is most important to the administrator. More customization on the website. Example, being able to change the link "Book" on the schedule to something else like "Free Trial Class". I use the booking function for leads rather than students. The check in screen can also be a little easier. Possibly have student names listed that are able to check in to next session available so they can just click on it.

Martial Arts In rails

주석: It’s cuts down tons on paperwork and allows the use of a card for recurring monthly payments. Those are huge. We also keep attendance and rank in this and it helps tons as well. I was skeptical at first but will say that we highly enjoy its function.

Best customer support around! Very streamline and easy to use Ever evolving with input from customers Less paperwork, mass emailing, just great in all areas. Fair priced

- sometimes can be a little glitchy but Customer support always is right on it.

Great option for beginners

주석: Very happy overall. Service is key for me, makes me want to stay bc I have help when I need it.

The ease of use, and the customer response time, initially and ongoing as needed. I like the customization options specifically for Martial Arts.

단점:

It takes some time to learn the settings and it’s still something that I’m learning even after a year. Sometimes there are glitches. But with the immediate response (and tech help from the back-end) from the company, it makes it easier to handle.

Great Choice for Managing Your Martial Arts Business!

- Super responsive and helpful customer service. Our questions/problems are usually resolved within a few hours of submitting a request. - Clean UI: easy for both us and our members to navigate the software. - Provides all the features you'd need to run your school: billing, belt/skills tracking, attendance tracking, etc. - Integrates with a variety of payment processors

There are a few random bugs here and there, but the support team is always on the ball fixing them once you bring it to their attention.

Great software for managing a martial arts gym.

I like the customer service the most. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has been most helpful and promptly responded to any questions or concern that I have had. Beyond that, the breadth of capabilities of the software is really great and I discover new functionality of the software almost weekly.

There are very few cons with this software. There are little things that have come up here and there, but [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has resolved them quickly or helped us find a workaround.

Excellent software to keep dojo running smoothly

Easy to keep track of visitors/potential new members. Great dashboard overview to see quickly any overdue fees and information

We run a lot of kids classes where a day(s) needs to be selected for them to enrol. Currently we need to create a lot of day combinations to accommodate this

Great for the price

장점:

Very customizable and full of neat and useful features. Attendance tracking, session allotment, booking are all done really well. Friendly and clean UI. If I wanted to do what I'm doing on Gymdesk on Mindbody (or other big names), I'd probably spend double and with more headaches. There are some features that could be added (like an IOS app!) and some that could be more intuitive, but the Gymdesk team is very responsive and helpful, so I'm sure that regardless of your studio's style of doing things they could help calibrate the software to your situation. All-in-all, great software and major bang for your buck.

1. Sometimes the sign-up page will glitch out or be clunky, which can be embarrassing when dealing with a client. 2. Although it isn't the job of the software to do your math, I do wish there were more numbers that tracked different info about leads, demographics, attendance, new/old/returning students, and accounting stuff like revenue growth, average spent per student, number of paid/unpaid per month, etc. 3. To my knowledge, there is no easy way to upgrade or downgrade memberships. You have to manually cancel their current membership, add the other one, and then figure out the prorated difference (which can be somewhat confusing, especially on the fly). 4. No app, which is fine, but it is definitely easier to use the software on the computer than on the Ipad or phone.

Transformed our Club

주석: Prior to using Martial Arts On Rails we operated a manual system and as a consequence we were losing track of payments, grading, etc. For our club to continue to grow and provide the type of service our students deserve we did some extensive research of automated systems and opted for Manonrails as we found it to be a feature rich system which not only manages the basics very well but also allows you to monitor trends and provides a variety of metrics on the clubs performance and tools to help you grow the club. The sytem was created and managed by CEO who himself is a Martial Artist and therefore uniquely understands the needs of a martial arts club. In the event of any issues or queries the responsiveness of their customer support is nothing short of exceptional, we are on a different time zone here in Europe but that has never been an issue. Maonrails has totally transformed how we manage our clubs and we would have no hesitation in recommending them!

Ease of day to day use...Does not need additional hardware (works off a smartphone, tablet, pc, etc).... Feature rich... Dashboard providing a snapshot of key metrics...

단점:

Nil - anytime we have identified a new feature that would benefit our club they have modified they system to add the desired feature.

Makes operations smoother

장점:

Simple to set-up and use, provides commonly needed features, making it easy to communicate with students, handle memberships, take payments, waivers/contracts, track prospective students, as well as provides small details that software we used in the past have overlooked (ability to close your gym operations for a period of time, so you don't have to manually freeze each member)

단점:

the freezing of memberships is counterintuitive, and requires some workarounds

An amazing powerful modern program that does what is is supposed to!

주석: Overall this software saved me a lot of money and clients due to it's ease of use in money transactions

The ease of use and ability to adapt to my gyms needs is amazing. With the added bonus of communication portals to my clients, text and email this is a powerful tool!

단점:

I wish the content page had more of a social media feel and less old web 1.0 feel.

A Must have for Gym Owners

주석: Gymdesk is a lifesaver. I am able to organize all of my work flow in one system. I love the membership renewal, the personalized website, the group text message marketing, the online store for selling our products, and so much more!! It’s definitely a must have for all gym owners. There are so any features to use. I love Gymdesk and will never change. They are truly the best!!

Prompt Responses and Excellent Customer Service

주석: Using Martial Arts on Rails has allowed us to combine three different platforms into one accessible and easy to use program. We are now able to navigate through any membership requirement within the same system and it has really helped our day to day business run smoothly.

This system is extremely user friendly and it has been a smooth transition from our previous software. Very easy to navigate through all our memberships and features.

단점:

We have not had any issues with this software that wasn't promptly addressed by customer service. We needed an option of entering multiple payment methods in membership accounts and the option was provided the next day.

most useful tool for me

I was in the market for a new gym membership and was looking at a bunch of different options. After researching a bunch of different options, I came across Gymdesk. The product is a mobile app that lets you book gym sessions, track your workouts and even bill your members. It also gives you a full reporting dashboard to keep an eye on your members' progress and progress.

단점:

I didn't observe any negative sides. I'm satisfying.
