EmailOctopus: A Great Email Marketing Solution for Small Businesses and Non-Profits

주석: The cost to value with EmailOctopus has been incredible. Reaching out when you need help is easy, and the response is fast. I am glad we made the switch and would recommend more small companies to give them a try.

EmailOctopus has a robust template system that makes it easy for anyone to create marketing emails that look nice. The branding template is smooth enough to upload your brand colors, and the tagging, segmenting, and contact field sections allow for customizing demographics for specific emails. EmailOctopus is user-friendly and a wonderful tool at a wonderful price.

I would like to see more flexibility in custom reporting, especially when comparing campaigns. In addition, email automation is not intuitive and needs more work.

GREAT newsletter platform, alternative to pricey competitors

주석: Great for sending out monthly newsletters. Will continue using for the foreseeable future and may upgrade to Pro!

Very customizable without forcing me to do HTML. Gives me everything my previous newsletter platform (MadMimi) did and more. Lots included with the Free version that most competitors charge an arm and a leg for.

단점:

There are many pages to each process, and the automation process specifically is quite confusing. Help articles are good but some portions could be better labelled.

Not Impressed due to lack of deliverabilaty and one poor customer service rep

주석: Yuck. I am bummed, but the customer service was lacking, regardless of a free account or not. As a small, volunteer-run nonprofit, we are frugal, and apparently not paying equates to a not good experience.

The initial customer service was just fine, but when inquiring about bounce-back rate, the individual responding was simply "icky".

단점:

We experienced an extremely high deliver-ability issue, when we had zero with the previous platform. When inquiring about the drastic swing between the two platforms, I was met with extreme disrespect by the customer service agent, [sensitive content hidden], who proved that he is simply not a good person. While I had positive experiences with other reps, he proved to not be one of them. Any organization would be curious about why there was such a large swing in numbers, in post-actively reading reviews, lack of deliver-ability was a constant.

Best ESP Ever - And I've Tried Them All

주석: Fantastic. Easy to set up and get going, and any issues or queries I had were responded to promptly by helpful, friendly customer service representatives. Overall, I absolutely love using EmailOctopus and highly recommend them.

Honestly can't think of anything. I've used a lot of email service providers in the past, including all the 'big names', and EmailOctopus is my favourite by far. Absolutely love it.

Great for events and mailing lists

주석: Very easy to schedule and send emails, and a simple, user-friendly experience which I'd recommend to other organisations who use mailing lists.

It's user friendly, and it's free. I found out about EmailOctopus when Mailchimp started charging extortionate fees for having 1500+ subscribers. Email Octopus was a great alternative.

Some of the features are still a little basic, so I look forward to some new and improved design options in the future (fonts, shapes, etc)

User-Friendly and Easy to Use

Easy and professional

Everythin we Need

주석: We have used email octopus for many years. I can't comment on the support - because we have never really needed them - their product just runs properly and without issues. We use it for a lot of things, but primarily for email lists for our users and list management. Their API was easy to integrate into our app, and it makes things really smooth and easy.

Easy to use, almost never a bug, affordable

단점:

UI can be a bit weird, but is super minor. Its a really great product

A friendly, clean and reasonably priced mailing list company.

주석: I moved from a different mailing list company which had significantly raised its' prices and bloated its' product full of "features" I didn't need. I was nervous switching, but it was completely painless, even though I had to setup templates and sign-up forms from scratch. Moving my list of 1500 subscribers across was also very easy.

The interface is extremely clean with no clutter or bloat. The website runs smoothly with no lag when I'm adding lots of info to a newsletter. Block management is easy to understand and it's simple to test the emails before deploying. I appreciate the the simplicity of campaign reports and automations are easy to setup.

It's not quite as feature-rich as some of the big mailing list companies. However, this isn't necessarily a bad thing as it makes it very simple to use.

Fantastic Newsletter Publishing and List Maintenance Service

주석: After a service I'd been using for eight years started developing functionality problems, I checked out competitors and came to EmailOctopus on the basis of a recommendation. Haven't looked back.

Everything WORKS. It's easy to import lists. It's easy to set up lead capture pages to get new subscribers. It's easy to create newsletter templates. It's easy to publish campaigns and get them delivered.

There's nothing I dislike about EmailOctopus, but if I could suggest one feature it would be social media account linking as opposed to having to manually post links to campaign emails to Facebook and Twitter.

EmailOctopus is flexible in their pricing. Instead of suddenly breaking into an expensive category because of additional subscribers, EmailOctopus has a gentler system. They even reduce the charge if you lose subscribers! Perfect for someone like me with a modest budget.

The dashboard was a little bit difficult to negotiate at first, and the emails hard to design until I got the knack--now it's not hard at all.

Keep it SImple

Email Octopus is the only email program I could connect with. I can do almost anything with any program on a computer. But email marketing has always been overly complicated, in my opinion. I can write copy and set up great graphical design, but email marketing is like this bag of complications that the occasional email marketer doesn't get very proficient in. EmailOctopus simplifies all of this to the point that even if I don't become an expert in email marketing, I can still start and run a campaign and get good feedback on the quality of that email campaign. I like the fact that I can just relax after hitting the send button, and Email Octopus does the rest. For me, I like simplicity. Overly complicated doesn't work for me. Email Octopus is simple.

I am waiting for AI tools to be incorporated into EmailOctopus. I also think it would be cool if an email audience could be created right within the app.

Started out using the free version. It has all of the features of the paid version which you can't say that about their competitors. Can immediately have more than one list as well as use automations. Gave me a great idea. how the program works and now I'm paying and a huge fan.

I am able to integrate Email Octopus pretty much everywhere I want. But, occasionally I need to use a third party software to do so. Which isn't a huge deal, but I'm sure that will start seeing email octopus in more and more native integrations.

Simple and cheap for a email marketing manager software

EmailOctopus provides a dependable platform at a reasonable price, with exceptional customer service. Questions are swiftly and thoroughly answered. The platform is simple to use and offers a wide range of options that i have use to write our newsletter and email marketing content.

I'd want to see the email builder drag and drop functionality enhanced. It works okay, and the emails are attractive, but it isn't as polished as some other newsletter builder software that I have used. The email template should be more customizable and easy to add a design into it.

Best Email Service Anywhere
