Best tool to create and manage projects I have ever used

주석: Great price, and it allows you to manage all of your project in a single place, also you can easily link it to other projects that may be worked on independently. Easy to use, very graphic and robust, it has all the tools you need for your project to be managed successfully.

Really easy to use, I was part of a large group which required several integrations and we had different schedules. This tool first of all was really graphic and easy to use, just drag and drop. Also when you switched to another tab it allowed you to see the full project and its current status for all in the team. It helped us target pain points and manage it in an extremely efficient manner.

단점:

It was hard to export and it was to be used within the same product, when I tried to make a Power Point presentation with the tool it was really hard to edit and past it so it would look nice.

Easy Redmine System Application

주석: We have had a very new challenge of portfolio management, we were hesitating to hire a solution that could not serve our requirements in the business case. After a deep search, we found that the Easy Redmine is the best solution to have in our group of companies. This is due to the fact it meets our requirement in terms of: 1. Improve Project Management Experience.
2. Enhance Competitiveness between the group of companies and the users as well.
3. Modernize Business Processes and Systems.
4. Cutting cost and open license solution.
5. Increase Operating Efficiency.
There is a greater need to provide accurate, comprehensive portfolio management reporting of performance. This cannot be achieved from the current MS Project, wrike.com or any other similar software... We found Easy Redmine is the best solution.

Users recognize a significant increase in effficiency after implementation to get a higher efficiency. The User Interface is much more friendly, attractive and very easy to use. Handling more projects in less time is the main focus of several customers, Easy Redmine is helping to increase the productivity. we recognized that the purchase is worthy and no further hesitate to be honest.

단점:

Until now, I don't see any Cons in the software...

주석: It seems like the company priorities has changed a lot and they are out of money and just squeeze all they can from their customers.
Just doesn't feel safe to bet on that platform. It probably won't stick for a long time...

장점:

We've started with easyredmine 8 years ago and it was perfect. The team was all about project management, building the software that will work for any classic team with PMI project management process. They were looking at what is important for the customers and building better and better modules. But things changed...

단점:

Lately tried to purchase a knowledge base plugin. They let us pay for it, but then instead of getting a plugin, we have got a request to pay 1000 EUR to update the whole stack, or we won't get the plugin. We checked with the support manager and they do have version of a plugin that will work, but they still don't let us get it.

The best IT project management/bug tracking/documentation option

Redmine is the best IT project management/bug tracking/documentation option I know by far considering cost and benefit and Easy Redmine makes it even more attractive. The cloud version is easy and quick to deploy.

단점:

It can become kind of pricey depending on the size of your team and available budget. If you're considering the server version you may find more affordable or even free options if you're willing to spend some time configuring and keeping the environment.

Redmine for easy Project Management

주석: We still use this for project management in our engineering group. It does a good job and has survived several other PM software changes because of it's ease of use for our engineering group. Many of the other groups wished we had stayed with Redmine due to that ease of use.

Redmine was easy to use with basic training. It was also very good at history tracking within tasks and projects, you were able to easily follow the "breadcrumbs". It is good for reporting and isolation of projects within groups.

단점:

There was a lot of ability for different users to make edits to other work. The ability to isolate read/write needs to be updated.

Easy Redmine, sometimes not so easy

Easy redmine is a very good ticketing system, and we were able to set up different projects where our customers can open their ticket. It's quite easy and functional when it comes to assigning tasks to users, to prioritize them and to report or track time.

단점:

Implementation has been a bit of a nightmare (we installed it as a self-hosted solution). I don't like that there is no easy overall view, and that when answering tickets with a long thread of answers it actually quotes the first email and not the last one in your answer.

I don't like its graphical interface very much

장점:

It offers all the project, task, sub-task management functions. In the company we use it as a helpdesk and I must admit that it does its job even if sometimes customer responses duplicate the tasks, creating a lot of confusion.

단점:

Unfortunately, as in the title, I don't really like its graphic interface, which is often not very intuitive and cumbersome. But it always remains a good application.

Good online PM tool with great price/quality ratio

주석: We were looking for a online PM solution for our IT department, which could help us with planning, resource planning and managing our different helpdesk inboxes with all of the incoming change requests and issues. EasyRedmine has all of this functionality and much more. EasyRedmine has a modular set-up and you can add plugins to the basic set-up at a small extra cost. I've worked with and tried different PM tools in the past (teamwork, Jira, Attask) and Easyredmine has all of the functionality of these other tools at a fraction of the cost. You can customize the solution to great length (I would recommend paying for the extra consultancy for setting the entire solution up to meet your requirements,though you can do this yourself with some extra effort). The EasyRedmine team is constantly developing and publishing new plugins with extra features and functionality. I highly recommend this solution to any IT department and IT consultancy for managing their operations and client work. It will result in internal transparency and more efficient operations and a better service for your clients.

Easy Redmine, a vital tool for any project based organization

주석: We are a Microsoft Dynamics Partner, mainly we work on complex ERP projects. our decision to implement redmine and easy redmine was a strategic decision after studying several solutions in the market. below please find the a brief about our pros and cons experience. Pros:
- Easy redmine, has enabled redmine application powers and gave our company a great competitive advantage by combining two pillars for any project based company, first operations which was covered by redmine and highly enhanced by easy redmine. and the other pillar is project management and this is by the beautiful easy gantt and resource management views that made our team love working on it.
Cons:
- One of the main cons that easy redmine has encountered, is launching half cooked versions , however they later on work on perfecting it.

EasyRedmine extends Redmine in many useful ways and is well supported.

주석: We have been using Redmine for well over a decade. It's one of the best Open Source Project tools out there... It's fast, flexible and highly customizable. Imagine you took Redmine with just about every useful plugin and rolled it into a single piece of software and then added a few unique plugins, the best Gantt Chart around, a great mobile interface and fantastic customer support... That pretty much describes EasyRedmine. We've been using it for a couple years on several projects and are now working towards migrating all of our projects to it. Although we've experienced a few minor problems along the way the support staff at EasyRedmine have been extremely responsive and dealt with problems very quickly. Likewise, we are always pleasantly surprised as new versions bring cool new features and general improvements to it's usability. Need I say more? Check it out. You will not regret it.

Highly Customizable Project Management Tool

주석: Transparency as it regards to projects in the organistaion.

I like that the software have a lot of features. The concept is great for enterprise solutions and if you have a good understanding of the workings, the tool is very useful for your day to day project activities. The application can be tailored to your needs as it is highly customizable.

단점:

The software Easy Redmine is a great tool, however, it may take a little getting used to. But when you do, a world of possibilities is opened.

- agile plug-in is useful for development team
- helpdesk makes it easy to interact with customers
- easy redmine support is very useful
Cons
- task screen is a bit messy and number of clicks to update a ticket could be reduced
- roadmap tool could be useful to organise versions of product

For more efficient in our production

주석: We already use Easy Redmine over 2 years.
With the good documentation of the REST API make the introduction is easy.
Easy Redmine help us to managed the different departments with detailed rights management .
We can control any fields and give only the most important information to employees.
The solution is more than only a project management, with the modul concept and extensions we use in distribution, back office and production. We are continue pleased to have opted for easy redmine.
Why can I only awarded 4 stars:
The quality of the translation is poor. We had himself optimize the translation in code. Meanwhile, we have learned from the support that the translation is completely revised. This are good news and closes the only weakness I known.

Easy Redmine

주석: We use Easy Redmine for a variety of projects (operational, financial, software development, and BI, for example). The system is flexible and easy to configure. The implementation and data migration phases went very well and we have had great support throughout the process. Using Easy Redmine has given management visibility into our projects that we did not have before (status of project, backlogs, where our resources are utilized, etc.). Although we requested some custom development early on, for the most part, Easy Redmine met our needs out of the box. The product is feature rich and the price is low compared to products with similar features. We are satisfied with the performance of the product and would not hesitate to choose it again.

Very good product that extend from original Redmine

주석: I believe that users can have very good experience using cloud version and don't need to be familiar with Redmine first. Yet Easy Redmine is not so easy for people who need to host their own servers, as Easy Redmine is more like a independent product rather than plugins for Redmine, you may have trouble when need doing some customizations, e.g. customize your own theme( I mean full css customization, not just brand or font colors...).
And I hope on-premise server's support can get better. Sometimes I feel that we don't speak the same language :P Yet, Easy Redmine is still a good product for it's providing great user experience.

Helps to keep track of projects, tasks and support tickets

주석: It has an easy handling task updates and creation. Easy Gantt helps to plan the time schedule of the tasks.
The knowlodge base and ToDo lists makes it easy to structure information and to keep track of those.
Planning and run projects are much easier and relyable as all participants share the same information.
The help desk plugin helped us to deliver better support to our customers. Though there are still some missing handling features we are very happy with it.
There should be a better handling of the filters and the gui. On some pages filters are visible on ours not. No configuration ist available.

Helpful plugins for your redmine (in this case: easy gantt)

주석: I´ve tryed serval easy-plugins on my normal redmine instance. For me and my projects the easy Gantt plugin was the most powerfull tool for visualizes issues AND editing them "on the fly". I´m very happy with the plugin. Also a bug which I had found was quickly fixed. You get an email when a newer Verion of your plugin is released; The baselines feature is something I wouldn´t miss anymore. freeze your project in the beginning as a baseline and you can compare it with any step in the future or even in the end to reflect where projectmanaging was less optimistic ^^

Fine but not easy to personalise

주석: It's a good product, only the gantt plugin is poor. i'm thinking the gantt module was like ms project or other gantt software. Gantt plugin is just a presentation without logic.

Easyredmine: the nautral redmine upgrade

주석: As a software development company we worked with Redmine for few years to track our issues and projects management, but we needed more easy to use Gantt option and resource management.
Last year we choose to give a try on Easy Redmine.
With the support of the customer service we migrated our services to Easy Redmine in a couple of days with the ready to use VM they supplied us.
Now we're using every day the Gantt and resource management to plan our teams daily work.
We use the easyredmine project management to get 25+ people working together easily.
