ScrapRight Recycling Software

주석: Fast response and call backs right away

장점:

After 2 days of setting up software and hardware we were up and running with the fastest ticket times in the WEST!

단점:

I would say it was the least, the amount of configuration that was needed to get it up and customized for our particular company..

Great way to stay organized

주석: I can't imagine running our business without Scrapright. It's made daily business so much easier. The customer service is excellent. Anytime I have a question or problem they respond within the hour and have a solution for me.

장점:

It prevents a lot of mistakes to happen from human error. It saves us time by generating a ticket and doing the math that by the time the customer comes to the window they are already paid and taken care of. I like how you can make the program to fit your needs as far as different commodities and prices for specific customers.

단점:

Using the Ipad on the road. You have to be connected to wifi in order to log in. Then when you go on the road and try to use the printer it only prints "weight" ticket. Sometimes when you don't have wifi the ticket gets lost. I understand the ticket isn't connected remotely and it's supposed to sync when you hit wifi, it doesn't on occasion.

주석: for the price I wish the program did more. I also wish that when you call tech support to fix a problem it could be done right then, that is when the customer is here-loss of customers

장점:

It makes filing reports easy. would be better if when it messes up you could fix problems to resubmit the reports. example if license was expired be able to update after the transaction.

단점:

can not fix problems. we are just stuck. the program is slow. the program is redundant, it does not do everything we need to be compliant. ie cash cards the program forces us to type and retype customer info to stay complaint.

Help getting problems fixed

주석: overall has been good been a few bumps in the road but always been able to sort it out

The software is easy to use has lots of features that fit our needs

단점:

There are really no cons I can think about, about the software itself. My real concern is when you need help everything is done through email and chat lines and that does work if you are comfortable with that type of communication. I prefer to pick up a phone and talk to someone. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] in Technical support has been very good to us and for our company. We appreciate her help, dedication, and quick response even though the email/chat line.

Great software

주석: We have been using this software since since Shon started and still today are using it .

It’s easy to use , easy to learn , and always improving it

Difficult combining 3 yards to one main server

Scrap Right is the Right Choice

주석: We have enjoyed excellent service for five years now. They are always willing to improve there product to keep current with technology and industry trends. I look forward to running Scrap Right in all of our future location!

The ScrapRight Software is the easy to use. Customers are in and out quickly with complete transparency. We can also recall old purchases with easy. This system has paid for its self over and over again! I have it in use at both of my yards and if ever we have a problem tech support is always available to assist.

단점:

Scrap Right is real good about addressing issues and making changes to better fit your needs.

My Personal Experience

주석: We were recently with a company that we literally had issues with DAILY. I don’t mean like one or two, I mean like we hardly even got to use the system we paid for each month! Since getting with ScrapRight, it’s been SUCH A BLESSING, & the customer service has been exceptionally AMAZING!!! I’d recommend them to EVERYONE that wanted a low cost, AFFECTIVE way to run their business simple, professional, EXTREMELY great customer service, and never have to worry after hours what the day will bring come tomorrow!

It’s extremely easy to learn, use as well as to teach our employees! Even those not so efficient in English comprehends this!

There is absolutely NOTHING I’d say negative!!

장점:

POS system. Buying and Selling is very simple to understand and operate.

단점:

Inventory Tracking. All the regrading that we do has gotten messy over the years.

장점:

the help and service is just fantastic and program are easy to us that i have to call for help with a problem a couple of months and problems are fixed super fast

단점:

having to request help with a problem but it is fixed very fast and proper

New approach needed

장점:

Good POS system for the price and run specials.

단점:

Doesn't interface well with Quickbooks, and staff isn't helpful navigating the pitfalls of your product.

장점:

The inventory and billing process is easy. I like that it sync's to quick books, when it is working.

단점:

The syncing, I always have to send emails to start syncing with quick books

Few bugs for a new system, over all faster and keeps you compliant.

주석: Makes sure you are legal and compliant, that's worth the world to me in this business.

장점:

Once a customers info is put in, its easy to find and fast getting them in and out. The pictures of the customers and commodities make it easy to see what was bought and who from.

단점:

Still a few bugs to work out and you must have fast internet for the system to work properly. Sometimes you have to double check the customer is getting everything they brought in and make sure it not on someone else's ticket.

Good for compliance

Keeps us compliant with state scrap purchasing laws requiring photos of material and seller, scanned drivers licenses, etc.

단점:

Supplier does not communicate well regarding requested changes or modifications of software. For example, we requested a "list all" button for a part of the program. We were told that it was a good idea and that the change would be made. But, after a while, we gave up waiting.

Easy transition- great support

주석: [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and his team are very good at what they do and their attention to customer needs is top notch. Good customer service is hard to find and they sure do deliver on that!

Our team has embraces the transition to ScrapRight very well considering we were using a different software system for 12 years. The set up and integration was very smooth with the onsite help and the ability to integrate existing hardware kept costs and disruptions low. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and his team are dedicated to make sure this is a good fit and help resolve any issues right away.

단점:

We are a little anxious about the system being completely cloud based. So far it seems to be working well but Internet outages are inevitable and we are bracing ourselves for how that will work.

We've been using ScrapRight for over 5 years now and have been very pleased with it.

ScrapRight keeps us compliant with state recycling laws. It's easy to use and easy to teach others to use.

단점:

I have no major complaints. The tech team is working out some kinks in the latest version. I will be ready for the GA vehicle upload to work without any problems.

There was no training need it. You just picked it up and started using it.

It’s hooked to the Internet, so that’s one of those things you’re at the mercy of

ScrapRight review

주석: Overall, Scrapright does what it advertises. The new updates has made it much better and shows that the company is working to improve the software.

장점:

The software team has come a long way. They have implemented quite a few things that have made the program more user friendly. If learned correctly, the program does do a great job in assisting in your business. Rep is extremely helpful and patient.

단점:

The learning curve is tremendous and tech support is very particular about questions. If your call is about X, don't ask about Y.

Camera Install

주석: In this instance, getting our scale camera to work/talk to Scrapright, [sensitive content hidden] was phenomenal. Over the period of two days that it took, due to wiring issues at our end, she was able to get our camera up and running while talking me through was wire had to be installed where.

Ability to keep track on individual sales from customers.

단점:

None that I can think of. Product performs exceptionally for my needs.

I have been working with the support staff now for over 2 years and have always had Great results.

Being able to access it from anywhere at anytime. You can be on vacation and adjust pricing or pull up a report during a meeting.

단점:

The price.

Equipment Problem

장점:

Very helpful & stayed on the phone until issue was resolved.

단점:

Issue with printer occurs too often & would be nice if it was not so.

Team have been very helpful over the years I have had Scrap Rite.

ease of use!!! Easy installation . good service . Anybody can learn how to use it for new employees

Good Software Solution for small to medium businesses

주석: Great support team at ScrapRight, however, there is no support outside of their business hours.

장점:

Software is easy to use and interface is simple and friendly, it must be since where it is used, the users are not tech-savvy. The software is updated regularly by the ScrapRight team.

단점:

Requires regular maintenance, such as restarting certain services. The automated scripts and maintenance tasks are not doing sufficient job. I am sure its a configuration/setup thing that can be easily resolved.

Great Software

주석: Our overall experience has been great. From sales to installation everything went smooth. Shon was awesome to work with and we are excited to continue with this company. Support is great. They get back to you same day.

The ease of use. It makes daily transactions a breeze. Scale integration and the ability to customize all aspects of the transaction is nice for compliance and the users permissions. Everything works well together with very little downtime.

단점:

The inventory module is confusing. There is quite a few steps that need to be done correctly otherwise your reporting will be off. I have had to call support often for help with the inventory module and they have been mostly helpful.

ScrapRight > Other Guy

장점:

I switched to ScrapRight from one of their competitors, and unfortunately because of the new tools that ScrapRight provided we found out that my niece and daughter had stolen over $72000 from our company. I hated that this happened, but I am ever grateful to the tools provided by ScrapRight that help me know exactly what is going on in my business. The other software basically helped them to accomplish this. Thank you ScrapRight! I don't believe I will ever be stolen from again

단점:

This was a very painful lesson or me to learn that the right company is worth so much more than what I am paying, it cost a lot of money to figure that out. If you are reading my review, please choose these guys, they literally could save your business!

Works great, does what we need

장점:

Easy enough to setup, and customer support is a breeze. Liked the way the software interface looks as well.

단점:

Sometimes have devices disconnect or need reconfiguring, otherwise seems like a solid platform software.
