user friendly analytics software
주석: Overall the software is great because it has been developed with the end user in mind. If I were to choose between IDEA and other auditing and data analytics software I would prefer IDEA because it offers a comprehensive set of features for data audits.
장점:
First off, the documentation of the software is comprehensive and clear. Secondly the software allows auditors to work on the host locally as well as using a server, allowing entire teams to share data together. Finally the software supports an extensive list of data formats, from XML to different kind of database formats and as a bonus it has scripting options.
단점:
When working with a remote server, the software tends to lock up during data load. This ensures the integrity of the data, but it's makes the user feel as if the software is unresponsive.
Excellent Tool that helps audit teams
장점:
Is a good tool to allow auditors to make sample selections. It is user friendly once you get the basics of it.
단점:
It gets some getting used to it, but once you do, it is really easy to use again and again.
Not Intuitive and Poor Training
주석: We have been able to audit items that would not have been able to be done any other way and it has greatly improved our ability to complete certain tasks. Besides the need for training to use the software and the training available being horrible, it is a useful product.

It provides the ablility to compare two large data sets relatively easily.
단점:
I have been using and testing software for about 25 years and this is least intuitive software I have every seen. It is buggy to change connections or setup connections especially with ORACLE databases. We paid for users to be trained and the training was terrible. It was a waste of money to pay for employees to travel and sit in a training for a week and the teacher was horrible. It was a huge disappointment and no one at the company seemed to care. This instructor had a reputation of being terrible according to others in the class with our employees.
CaseWare Experience
주석: The features help me better to understand audit requirements and steps to follow during the course of the audit.

CaseWare makes audit working papers to be less complex. It aids the audit engagements to go smoothly with proper audit records keeping.
단점:
The software needs to improve in speed better than the existing speed.
Very handy but sometimes hard to use
주석: Good overall experience, very helpful. Take a minute to get the hang of it but very pleased with the software.

I love the functions of this software, helps me cut the time it takes to do my accounting processes in half. Makes my job much easier!
단점:
The functionality could be improved upon. Some features are hard to use and the software is subject to freezing and crashing.
Definitely get training so you know ALL the features!
주석: Great customer service, licensing can be a bit cumbersome, but overall, a very user friendly and workable tool for any audit or financial analysis need.

Highly granular functions, amazing array of pre-made tests, fast and efficient, great automation.

Needs buttons for functions, writing them can be complex. Training really helps with this!
Granular functional analysis software, useful in many applications
장점:
I am able to easily import many different types of files and extract specific data based on parameters.
단점:
Multiple license types, takes time to learn. Best method is to work through the tutorials, take training or purchase the IDEA Workbook.
Caseware for financials
장점:
It made preparation of financials seamless. Eliminated common errors and improved the standard of the financials including IFRS updates.
단점:
Not an easy software to teach first timers. One needs an environment where they will use the software on a daily basis to grasp the concepts.
Incredibly useful in audit work
주석: A great addition to your audit tool suite and invaluable in organizing your work.

I like the account mapping feature especially, and love the fact that it can be rolled from one audit to the next (YOY).
단점:
It can be confusing to learn at the start, and it's useful to attend training or have someone show you how the tool works
Great idea for auditing

The software is easy to use and simple to get use to. It is somewhat simillar to Excel.
단점:
I noticed a small mathematical error in counts, but I haven't used it long enough to find anythung big.

O software possui praticamente todos os recursos necessários para serem utilizados em Data Analytics. Não existe uma ainda versão lite que permite selecional apenas uma parte dos recursos do aplicativo.
Procesamiento en grande y trazabilidad de las consultas para auditoria
주석: Análisis de información, cruces de información de archivos de tamaño mayor a 5 GB, consultas rápidas aun cuando el equipo no tenga una buena configuración. Opera con menos recursos que los que se recomienda por el fabricante.

La capacidad para procesar archivos, permite trabajar con archivos de mas de 15 millones de registros, procesamiento rápido, las carpetas creadas para almacenar la información, facilidad para crear la consultas. Herramienta para personas no expertas en sistemas de información. La generación de estadísticas de cada archivo.
단점:
La forma en que crecen exponencialmente los archivos a medida que se hacen consultas y a veces el tamaño de los archivos después de múltiples consultas no permite leerlo. Los ejemplos de la ayuda no son claros para quien quiere utilizar formulas.
Useful for financial and audit analytics

This software has very useful features to analyze data. I love how easy it is to import and export data.
단점:
I found it confusing to use at first and takes a while to learn how to use it well. Other than that I have found no other issues.
A diversified and handy tool to play with data

Very easy to use and full of functionalities that you can have at this budget. I specially liked the interface, it allows the users to operate smoothly from the very beginning.

Don't use it a lot but i like it
