주석: Vinchin is excelent backup solution for cloud provider, the ability to do backup restore across the cloud-provider, regardless their cloud technology, is the advantages of vinchin.

Vinchin is supported many cloud virtualization including vmware, the migration across different cloud is just one click away.

단점:

its not yet supported metered billing (pay as you go).

Great option for backup solutions

주석: It have worked great for me and the support have been exellent.

Its easy to use and can restore to different platforms.

Maybe that you need patches to restore to Proxmox. But no big deal

주석: I was using cronjobs to automate backup before Vinchin. But now fully automated and saves so much time. Also I can restore OS level. very cool.

The perfect compromise to backup a mixed Virtual environment

주석: We have been using Vinchin for 2 months and we are very satisfied .. We would probably need more training videos on specific type of hypervisors. But the overall experience is great...

- The ability to manage different type of Hypervisor - The web Visualization interface ( The most beautiful visual Monitoring interface I have seen ).. - The features offered ... - The performance and the simplicity of the backup process -- And definitely the update process directly from the web console .

단점:

- Still some improvement to do in the "File backup management" ( not flexible enough ) - Admin cannot interact with file backup agents directly...

Changes in Vinchin VM needs a new license key even when adding an additional network card. Cannot look for updates - information needed I guess

kepler backup software ( vinchin )

agent-free, centos (linux) based, web ui interface and not Jar or lightwight console, interact with hypervisor via sdk and rest API, file backup level, multiple backup repository options.....

단점:

- granular restore in the vm backup module is a very important feature, by now only a file download is possible no restoration to the orignial vm is possible unfortunately, it will be great if we can do both. - behaviour with the list for file backup restore when listing the directories ( refresh timed out in some sometimes) - no data integrity check with full backups - no community edition (like veeam)

Smart Technology Solution

주석: It is used for protecting vmware environment and used to replace vmware data protection (VDP) because VDP is very slow and it does not support the next vmware version (6.7). Vinchin is not too expensive and very easy to use and config.

It very easy to use and not so complicate to config and use

it not have a summary backup report for management review. It environment does not have any replication feature that very important for customer.

Support time need to be more less, OLVM support is need to be more. When had a issue always support need to time.

Data Protection problem solved with Vinchin Backup & Recovery in a smart way

주석: It has made Data Backup easy and fast due to simplicity of the software. I like the granular restore feature which allows us to save a piece of data multiple times instead of waiting for whole VM restore.

As per its name, it helps with VM backup activities; Does work smartly by doing activities fastly and easily and also , it comes with a quick installation time period

단점:

Unexpected data loss is a demerit for me; it should be tackled by Vinchin Backup & Recovery properly because the business runs on data.
