Full of functions in machining

주석: Awesome software for machining. Also can able to get details and support from the Solidworks.

장점:

The machining functionalities are at the more higher level. Anyone can learn quickly how to use the software because of the easiness of the controls.

단점:

The required ram of the computer somewhat higher than normal condition, because of the software is very heavy one. Otherwise it is slowdown the software.

Solidcam Review

주석: not bad, i still have issues form day to day but that could be a combination between the software and my ignorance.

장점:

easy of use is the the biggest pro. i already knew solidworks so learing solidcam cam pretty easy.

단점:

post processor issues could be better. 2018 is one of there worst years yet for support and software crashes.

GOOD SUPPORT TO DESIGN AND PRETTY EASY TO USE

주석: My overall ratings for SoildCAM is 8/10. Reason for that much ratings is that SolidCAM suits perfectly to the kind of design I do and It's support is great.

- Easily integrated to SolidWorks. - Can generate G codes out of your design easily. - User interface is simple, easy and codes are understandable. - Even helpful in 5 axis positional programming. - Its saves 70% of CNC machining time.

단점:

- Animation part could be done better. - Some features of SolidCAM are not not smart enough. - Tool path stimulation is bit rough.

"Best CAD-CAM Integration Software"

주석: Overall the tool is excellent for CAD-CAM Integration , which works in a simple and fast manner. It is having a very user-friendly interface and the generated code is very much easy to understand. New users also find that the code is easily readable. The standard tools are easily available in the interface. Here we can easily generate G codes. Support team is also helps in a very good manner. This tool saves very much time that we will spend on machining. This helps very much to SOLIDWORKS users by using Cam tool.

This is the tool, which works in a simple and fast manner. It is having a very user-friendly interface and the generated code is very much easy to understand. New users also find that the code is easily readable. The standard tools are easily available in the interface. Here we can easily generate G codes. And support is also very good from the support team.

단점:

There is nothing more to tell about the cons, the only thing is sometimes the system will crash.

Cam Software with Powerful and User friendly iMachining tool.

장점:

3 axis mill operation is one of the best feature which help me to define milling operation. Also define machine feature is very helpful to define the milling operation in 4 and 5 axis of milling. User friendly User interface.

단점:

To run SolidCam high system configuration is needed. Sometimes software crashes in between operations.

Efficient software tool for CNC Milling operations

주석: Unzuverlassige Software, und der Hauptaugenmerk bei den Updates liegt leider auf neuer Funktionalität statt auf Fehlerbeseitigung. Würden wir nicht nochmal kaufen. Hint: Die Fehler in der Software liegen nicht an unzertifizierter Hardware. Das ist nur Schmu um zusätzlich überteuerte Hardware zu verkaufen. Die Fehler ließen sich seinerzeit auf den Schulungsrechnern reproduzieren.

- Abgesehen von gelegentlichen Problemen mit der Linienerkennung funktionieren die 2-2,5D Operationen sind wirklich sehr gut. - Einfach zu benutzen wenn es funktioniert. - Gute Simulation. - Relativ gute Integration in Solidworks - Übersichtliche Gestaltung - Viele verschiedene Jobs

- Deutliche Probleme mit Geometrieerkennung bei HSM Operationen seit Jahren - Unterschiedliche Fehler in verschiedenen Funktionen, abhängig von der Version - Fehlerhafte Synchronisation, seit Jahren mehr oder weniger schlimm Derzeit verliert SC beim Sync oft die referenzierten Ebenen - Tauschen des Referenzmodells führt meistens zum Absturz, letzte Version - Fehlerhafte CNC-Code Erzeugung, letzte Version, eine Maschine - Regelmäßige Abstürze, verschiedene Versionen - Fehler werden nur durch teuer erkaufte Updates (Service Vertrag) behoben - Workarounds kosten immens viel Zeit - Die neue Werkzeugverwaltung verursacht Probleme und ist unübersichtlicher. Die Probleme ließen sich vielleicht mit einem teuer erkauften Postprozessorupdate beheben. Wir benutzen für diese Maschine eine ältere Version von Solidcam, wo der Werkzeugkatalog noch in Ordnung war.

Tremendous CAM software for programming CNC machines

I like iMachining wizard which saves me a lot of time on CNC machine with a vey user friendly interface and easy to integrate with SolidWorks and quickly generate G code out of your design without any struggle.

단점:

The program needs to be updated with better design and provide a more stable integration with SolidWorks.

An iMachining tool with better UI and ease to do simulation.

주석: A preferred software for operations simulation and easy to use this tool for iMachining .

장점:

Preferred software for iMachining operation such as drilling, milling, facing operation simulation. It has an ability to use the hole wizard process which made spot facing easier. It's easy to drag and drop a face to the components. Click finish only it allows us to facing operation in milling. Solid CAM simulator quickly check how our tool path will face.

단점:

Purchase of SolidCAM is not available directly we need to contact third party distributor support team. This software is lagging with lower configure computers

Probably the right tool for some businesses

This software was provided on a trial for us to use with a CNC machine and we have since extended it because the price was right. However, we don't get much use out of it and probably could just use an extension of our current software.

For what it does the software is pretty good and manageable.

주석: CAD/CAD integration is very much helpful since I'm a SOLIDWORKS user. Efficient features like tool path simulation and GCode generation play vital role in reducing the machining time.

Quickest way to generate GCode. Simple and user friendly software to part programming and to simulate tool path. Easy to integrate with CAD tool like SOLIDWORKS. Vast and versatile library feature.

단점:

I have not come across any cons in the software as such. System should be of high end for quick simulation.
