Best in class but expensive

All used functionality was best in class. Simple to use and safe. Customer service was also strong. Great for enterprise users

단점:

Expensive. The volume of activity determines the price so the $ can rack up quickly making it expensive compared to other solutions

Streamline contract workflow

주석: We came to SpringCm with no contract management workflow. We worked with Spring to design a custom and complicated workflow that was able to scale both domestically and internationally. This was three years ago and we have just launched a new platform which has been received very well with our sales team.

장점:

The flexibility with the workflow is a plus when utilizing it worldwide across serveral different business units and products. It also integrates with Salesforce allowing streamline reporting across all our objects and and single sign on to one platform. The other benefit is the search feature which allows us to search for specific language through all our pdf contracts with their OCR capability. This feature has saved time across many departments.

단점:

Nothing - however, I would suggest adding the ability to print the history of the audit trail withing the contract worklfow. This is helpful for providing support to auditors.

SpringCM is a very convenient software

Overall, the features and functionality of SpringCM has been very useful since it provides a centralized location for the storage of contracts. What I like most about the software is that It provides collaboration across users. It allows users to request for document review or creation with just a single push of a button.

단점:

It had drawbacks like browser compatibility. SpringCM seems to work faster in Chrome compared when using IE

Eliminates physical paperwork and reduces the turnaround time

주석: We usually outsource content from freelance writers in different locations when we have a backlog from our clients. Therefore, we need an agreement with the remote writers to ensure non disclosure and formalize the work relationship. We also create contracts with large companies that need our services. Docusign helps us draft the contract and ask the other parties to sign from wherever they are. It offers many ways to sign and it is easy for anyone to use.

장점:

DocuSign CLM has an intuitive interface that allow new users to navigate, upload documents, create signature sections, and choose the ideal signing process. It provides many document signing options including electronic signatures which makes relationship with clients and freelancers binding. You can request many users to sign the same document regardless of their geographical location. It keeps track of everything that happens to the document so you can tell who altered what section. This enhances transparency.

단점:

Docusign CLM is a subscription solution which might be a limitation for small businesses. Although it has a simple design and features, it requires some learning to enjoy full functions and avoid making mistakes that could affect the enforcement of the contract. It relies on the internet and connection issues could affect its performance.

SpringCM has transformed our contract and document management process.

주석: It has provided a seamless way for our staff to manage contracts and documents. It has saved us time and helped us to organize our processes.

SpringCM provides a seamless way for our staff to process, send, share, and track contracts and other documents in our system. All document management can be done within SpringCM without the hassle of downloading documents, attaching them to emails, etc. With a click of a button contracts can be created and send for signature; documents can be previewed, edited, sent for review, and much more. Our staff is now on the same page with document versions as SpringCM saves the newest version over the last, but allows us to easily access previous versions from the document history. Other features such as Workflows, Smart Rules, Dashboards have helped our staff automate and organize processes.

단점:

We would like to see a way for PDFs to be versioned. Certain file types are also not able to be viewed in Preview mode and it would be nice to have all file types available as a preview rather than having to download.

Makes it very easy to enter into binding contracts with remote clients

주석: DocuSign CLM helps us engage clients and enter into a binding contract before we offer our research services. It is easy to upload and edit Word and pdf files and send them out to clients for signing. It is easy to sign documents from any location with internet connected devices. However, you need to learn how DocuSign CLM works to get the most and shorten the time required to establish contractual engagement.

DocuSign CLM provides the features we need to edit contracts, store, and send them to clients. It is quite secure and easy to use even for people who have never used electronic signature tools. The clients can read and understand the terms of the contract and sign from wherever they are. You can always access your documents in one location and are unlikely to lose them, which was a common challenge with physical contracts.

단점:

DocuSign CLM is easy to use but it requires some learning to make use of all the features and shorten the time required to create and establish the contract. It cannot work without access to the internet, which means that connection issues could affect functionality and lead to delays. Another thing I dislike is the price, which is a bit high.

DocuSign Enhances Contract Management Process

DocuSign allows collaboration of different parties, making it easy to review contracts before signing. You can access it from a remote location which is great since most of our clients are far away.

I like DocuSign because of its intuitive design that allows you to see all the contracts, check status, review deadlines, and perform necessary actions to make the contract legal and binding. The simple layout shortens the onboarding process. It has a version control system to ensure all users are using the latest version to minimize compatibility issues. It has advanced editing tools to allow us create professional contracts. You can create a customized template to ensure uniformity.

단점:

Despite having advanced features and functions, the pricing was beyond our budget and the management opted for a different solution. However, in terms of reliability, I prefer DocuSign and I hope we will reconsider the decision.

Viewing can be frustratin

주석: Our company uses SpringCM as a plugin to Salesforce and it works pretty well for what we need it to do. Granted any product will only work as well as the people who are using it. So some of my frustrations are more user related I believe than functionality. The main frustration I have is that I forget not to double click and then I have to reload the page in order to see the file I want to look at.

Promising but seems to take forever to implement

주석: When fully implemented, Spring CM will provide a cloud-based storage system for thousands of files.

장점:

My company has lots of different files coming from multiple sources in all sorts of formats. Spring CM is tasked with simplifying things within our Salesforce build. I like that the formatting of the resumes, references, etc generated are all cohesive and clean.

단점:

For some reason, the roll out of the software has taken years instead of months. I dont know if that is a problem with the Spring CM team or our internal team.

Easy to implement and use, Very Flexible

Solid e-signature system

주석: Our experience using DocuSign CLM is positive. We use it to draft and share binding contracts with clients who need our services. It is easy to set up and most clients use it easily. It formalizes engagements despite the physical distance between clients and service providers.

장점:

I like DocuSign CLM because it allows easy management of contracts with our clients. You can send them drafted contracts for them to read, ask any questions and append signature from wherever they are. It captures and helps store important details including the agreement, date, electronic signature, and time. This generally reduces confusion and makes the contract formal.

단점:

It has limited functions and we basically use it to share files for signing by our clients. Some clients experience troubles trying to add their signature but internally our colleagues have never had any issues. I wonder whether it can be manipulated to sign other documents without your knowledge.

주석: biggest problem docusign solves is the lengthy process we used to follow to sign a new client up, now it can be done in a matter of minutes

Most customization's and updates need to be made via XML coding.and this can be time consuming and somewhat labor intensive.

What I like most about DocuSign is the ease of use. When you need to quickly sign something, all you have to do is hit the next button and it takes you right to the next signature and you click and it signs and done.

주석: I am not impressed with the Spring CM software. It is not very customizable and the workflows are clunky. There are several basic features it seems to be missing to make life easier especially in the document review workflows. the Software is sporadically very slow and you have to refresh quite a few times waiting on new items to show up on the dashboard.

not able to customize enough clunky workflows inability to use certain features w/o a Spring license - this comes into place during the review work flow process

주석: We were previously missing key dates (expiration, renewal, termination, etc.) for contracts. That no longer happens. Plus, we never had a good system for tracking contracts that were in effect or ones that were terminated/expired. We do now thanks to SpringCM.

주석: I got to learn new 3rd party appexchange products available in market.

장점:

It saves cost of storing contract files in Salesforce.We save contract data in Salesforce and generate document/contract using Spring CM.It just needs one Template file format and we can generate contracts using Advance Workflows in Spring CM.It saves the efforts and cost

단점:

Some times Spring CM has some latency issues.It takes sometimes up to 10mins to sync Salesforce with SpringCM.Also documentation of SpringCM should be improved.

주석: I was on the training team at my last organization and helped to implement Spring CM before I left. It was definitely a product that was going to fill a big need. I can't question the functionality and capability of the product. I just thought the implementation was clunky and the support that we had to teach us the product and give us training tools was average. I ended up custom designing training materials to drive adoption and usage with my team. I know that this product added a ton of value for the folks who ended up using it on a regular basis, but my end wasn't ideal.
